Friendly staff, happy hour cocktails and delicious Mexican food. Great for after work drinks and quick bites. Welcoming and attentive staff and good flavours. Would definitely visit again.

Myself and four others had a very nice meal here however we were lucky to have missed the queue as we arrived just before an interim at the 02 Country to Country event. Not that I think Chiquitos could have done anything to cater for a sudden high demand. The service was a bit slow though - understandably. What I... More

Despite a plethora of staff and many available tables they took 30 minutes to seat us (including ten minutes of us just waiting at the front for someone to greet us). We were eventually seated even though the table we were given had been vacated as we arrived! I had to summon a waiter to take our order as no... More

Chiquito is a great place to get a taste meal before a show at the 02. Good range of well known Mexican dishes. We have visited several times and never been disappointed. Don't be put off by a big queue as the restaurant is bigger than it looks. Upstairs is a little more tranquil and you can get a reasonable... More

Considering the amount of customers, the food is again prepared and presented extremely well and fairly quickly by friendly staff.

The chicken fajita was very nice but the sides were clearly tired. The cheese was dry. The guacamole was brown. Clearly this had been prepared a lot earlier. One waitress seemed enthused to be there and one seemed fed up. Thankfully I got the enthusiastic one. It was a Tuesday evening and there were only 6 of us in the... More

Had a great meal on a Saturday afternoon, when it wasn't too busy and were able to choose where we wished to sit. Luckily, we got in just in time as the queue was out the door within 30 minutes of us being there. Great service and the food was amazing. Absolutely love Mexican food, I had a burrito for... More

'South of the border' passion is always served up at Chiquito. A menu of bold Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine is prepared however the diner likes it. Burritos, sizzling fajitas and tacos can all be customised for vegetarians or those wanting more spice. A kids menu, games and entertainment add to the family-friendly vibe, and there is a great range of exciting cocktails, mocktails, wines and tequilas.

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
