Recommended by a colleague, it turned out to be quite crowded even on a mild Friday lunch. (Bear in mind there are tables in the basement so don't be turned off by the full tables upstairs.) Main courses of the day were: quiche with courgette&(alleged) mozzarella, potato&chorizo frittata and a quirky hot dog. Healthy fast food for about £5 plus... More

Popular, cool café on the corner of Lincoln's Inn Fields offering a range of teas and Monmouth-brewed coffee. Very tasty breakfasts including their healthy breakfast bowl of fruit, muesli and yoghurt. Excellent scrambled eggs ( one of the very few places I've eaten in that knows how to do them properly ) and delicious cakes and pastries. If it's too... More

Studying at LSE for half a year, this place became a refuge from academia. They serve healthy salads, soups, quiche and frittata, as well as a range of sandwiches to take away, delicious cakes (raspberry crumble cake - so heavy, so many calories, but soooo nice!). The coffee is superb and service is always friendly. Their hot chocolate promotion -... More

The title says it all. I wish I could go back here. It was the best cup of coffee I ever had in my life. Not acidic ... so smooth and rich.

Stumbled across the bakery by accident and had a wonderful lunch, slightly tucked away from the buzz of Holborn. The quiche was delicoius and so were the salads, paired with very friendly service - a winner! Slightly on the pricey side (7 GBP something for a piece of quiche and salad) but well worth it.

We stumbled on this cafe on the way back from the Sir John Soane museum. Quite a studenty atmosphere, which is no bad thing. The quality of what is on offer here is very good, with big, good value portions. The breakfast pot is particularly recommended, huge bowl of Bircher Muesli, fresh fruit, fruit puree and other goodies - yum.... More

Came here for lunch with my parents - service was disorganised and new customers were being served/orders taken before other customers had paid which caused confusion. Whilst trying to pay using contactless for my order the wait staff started serving the person behind me and I had to state that I was still trying to pay - was told rudely... More

I never write bad reviews but this was a very unpleasant experience. The breakfast was terrible probably the worst I ve had in a long time : paper from prepackaging around bacon found on plate, the bacon very very dry, bread was very stale ( it s a bakery?!) tomatoes and mushrooms all dried- and note it s not s... The wait here is ridiculous - they really need to work on their systems! This is SO disappointing as the coffee is GREAT!

We saw this place on Saturday afternoon on our way to visit the Sir John Soane's Museum, round the corner in Lincoln's inn Fields. it looked inviting and friendly. We popped in after our visit to the museum. Great lunch, decent portions and very high quality ingredients. Excellent coffee. The coconut cookie and fruit slice were really good too. And... More
