Absolutely packed when we arrived then even more people arrived due to monsoon like weather but staff were fantastic took everything in their stride and made us feel really welcome - beer and food were pretty good too!

15 of us ate here and everyone was happy with their food. The service was good and the food was good except the chicken dish was quite small.

Good table service if you're eating. Lovely home made steak and ale pie, glass of pinot. Near the (bloody) tower.

First stop in London, fish and chips had so much more flavor than I’m used to. Ruined fish & chips in the states for me. Loved the atmosphere, beer is a little less chilled than I’m used to but managed to crush a few pints.

Stopped in for lunch after the Boat Tour down the Themes. Seems like a very local place. Their pies and fish n chips were pretty good.

This is a good old city pub that serves a nice pint of Fullers ESB, among other decent beers. The interior is nothing to write home about and it's generally packed with suited-up City boys from around 5 - 6.30 or so, but empties out...More
