Great place to go and unlike major Italian chains of restaurants you feel the food has some provenance and authenticity. Nice waiting staff

Superb evening at Ponti's. Immediately the lovely lighting and decor created a lovely warm ambience. The staff were genuinely friendly and relaxed, and just the right level of attentive - not interrupting the evening all the time but there at the right moments to refresh the water and wine. Had the most beautiful tortelloni with ricotta and truffle and tried... More

Following a quickly aborted visit to nearby Vapiano (:(), we went to Ponti's determined on Italian. This is an old favourite that we hadn't visited for a few years. Most professional yet friendly service, good menus and very tasty food. Both dishes were simply amazing.

Living very close to Ponti's new restaurant in Sheffield we felt compelled to try the Oxford Circus restaurant so we could get a feel for where it all began! Our food and wine was superb, the service was perfect and we left the restaurant feeling we have made some new friends. Many thanks to all the Staff who made for... More

The most rude, clueless and disorganised staff I've encountered in London in 4 years. The food was mediocre and the prices ridiculously high. Never again.

Meting friends around Oxford Circus in London we didn't know where to say to meet. By chance we walked past Ponti's on a Friday evening and took a chance on it. What an excellent venue, convenient location, great food, excellent service and wonderful staff. All you could ask for

My friends and I stumbled across this place when looking for somewhere to have a brief stop-off drink to escape the busy-ness of Oxford St on a Saturday. We were warmly greeted and given a nice booth to sit in. Initially we planned to just have drinks/desserts before heading back out, but we were having such a lovely relaxed catch... More

This is a good sized restaurant which has a varied menu-and delicious soya lattes! The service is efficient and very friendly and the food hot and of good quality. The young man who served us on Saturday could not have been more helpful. There is a 12.5% service charge which we were told goes directly to the staff. We are... More

So, the Parma Ham is from Parma and nowhere else. Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
