We were left disappointed as we visited the Kitchen at the Tower after reading rave reviews. We ordered the soup if the day and sandwiches. The soup was good, but the sandwiches too ages to arrive? Judging by the quality of the those and the fact that it was half-full you wonder a bit. It was a bit too cold... More

Good service: Waiter and waitress in there is friendly and hospitable making u feel comfortable. Environment: The interior decoration is lovely especially with colorful flowers. I believe in that you might enjoy the atmosphere when you enter in. I think it is also suitable for a couple dating there. Food: As a gourmet, you might try to taste a tradition... More

Read reviews on here thought great stuff we will go here before visiting the tower. Big mistake. It looks like it might have changed hands all the 'kitchen' signs had been taken down. The food was only just luke warm, the sausage and hash brown left a pool of grease on your plate and to top it off the toast... More

If you do not want to get ripped off give this place a miss. Only had a coffee and tea. Prices way overboard!!! Tea - £2.50 (just a mug) and a cup of coffee £2.50 and then believe it or not they make a service charge!!! Will give this place a miss in future.

Really enjoyable. Had a chicken burger and a lovely elderflower drink. Great location and good service. Tried to go again last time we were in London but it was closed. Will try again next time!

Just a short walk from Tower Hill tube. Lovely friendly staff. Nice surroundings in the grounds of an old church. Great service and obliging to variations to standard options. They do an early bird special where a full English breakfast is £6.50 before 11 am. Which includes a juice or hot drink. It's good value. The coffee was good. The... More

We called here for breakfast early in the morning. The decor and ambience is very nice and the staff are also. There is a variety of seating from regular to armchairs and sofas. We had the Full English breakfast (me) and Eggs Benedict (her). Both were excellent, delicious and generous portions. Great value. Highly recommended.

Thank Redsionnach

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
