place is beautiful, so don't be surprised, it takes way too long and the food is cold, just not good food. It wasn't Turkish food, better said something that was put together along the way!

Went here for dinner when in London on business. Was early on a Thursday, at about 6ish, and they had no spare tables inside as they were so busy. But thankfully we got a table outside! I had the chicken spring rolls for starter, and...the moussaka for main, the food was AMAZING. Had some chenin blanc wine which was nice too. Staff were lovely, great service. Turkish Cuisine shares many commonalities with the Greek and Lebanese styles of cooking, But it has enough distinct spices and specialties to make this an interesting choice for dinner. Antalya is a deceptively large and modern restaurant located on the busy mainstreet of Southhampton Row...near Russell Sqaure. Looking at the tables around us, it appears to draw a healthy clientele from the Middle East communities of London. We started with some slices of pita accompanied by salted almonds and olives spiced with mild red peppers. The we ate some of the best babaganoush I've ever tasted. My wife was not in the mood for Mediterranean food and ordered tempura shrimp. They were shockingly good for a Turkish restaurant. My order of braised lamb shank was superb. Often braised lamb is served in a tomato sauce. Instead, the tender lamb was placed on a bed of mashed potatoes and accompanied by roasted vegetables. A sprinkling of medium hot dried peppers (Aleppo?) gave the dish a unique flavor Modestly priced wine by the glass or bottle plus cocktails are served here. There are no Turkish restaurants in my home city. I wish there were so I could further explore this cuisine.More

My daughter and I were exploring the neighborhood around our hotel and came across Antalya for lunch. We enjoyed it. They have a large menu and the food was good and well priced. They have an interesting wine list and I enjoyed the couple of...Turkish wines that I tried. The staff was very nice and treated my daughter very well.More

Went here for Lunch before seeing a show at the Aldwych and it was excellent. We have eaten at a lot of T|urkish restuarants and this was very good. We have a couple of starters to share a main each and a rice pudding which...was lovely. Overall a great experience and we will be back.More

First time here. Looked at Trip Advisor for recommendations (of course) and this was local to the hotel we are staying at. A deceptively large restaurant, with on street seating, looks very nice. A warm welcome and shown to our table. We were impressed with...the decor, very comfortable. Ordered some drinks and they came with some pitta, olives and a tasty red pepper dip. Starters of hummus and Imam Bayaldi. Totally delicious and ideal size for sharing between 2. My main was the lamb chops which were absolutely delicious. Perfectly cooked, slightly pink, crispy coating mmmmm. My wife ordered the swordfish which, although slightly overcooked, was also delicious. Accompanying these were sautéed new potatoes and a vegetable "casserole". Side dish of spinach was delightful with the topping of almands. Had to have a try of the baked rice pudding, which I thought would be hot, but is served chilled and it was perfect. The hint of orange in it made it quite special. Total bill with a large beer and a glass of wine was less than £100. For where it is and the quality of the food, we both thought this was good value for money. Lastly, I must comment on the staff; friendly, efficient, informative and they too made the whole experience one that we will go back for. 10/10.More

Perfect way to start our trip to London! We went there as a group of 9 people and had a great evening with great food! The staff is very attentionate and nice! Very easy to book online. We would definitely go back!

Our first visit to this restaurant and it won’t be our last. It is deceptively large and clearly is an efficiently run establishment. Our food was really good, falafel and halloumi to share to start, both were really tasty and generous portions. Our chicken shish...with rice and salad were delicious, piping hot chunks of chicken. Our only criticism would be is that everything is very quick: no sooner were our starters cleared away when our main courses arrived. When we had finished our main course, we were asked if we wanted to look at the dessert menu, when we declined we were presented with the bill and a card machine. We did politely state that we wanted to relax and finish our wine and that the bill be left. If you want a leisurely meal then perhaps this is not the restaurant for you. Absolutely can’t fault the food, just too quick, allow diners to enjoy the whole ambience of their experience.More

Visited here with my husband on Sunday evening. The food and the staff were both fantastic - we asked for a recommendation and both choices were absolutely delicious! Very good prices too - highly recommend !

Lovely mid week meal, excellent service. Flavours fresh and food as good as in Turkey. Had the hummus, Baba ganoush, lamb shish and swordfish, gorgeous!
