Great little find. Have the rock, a savaloy and chip. Lovely stuff. Not too bad on price as well. The Continental Hotel told me about this place

Really friendly service but unfortunately the food let it down big time! The fish and the chips looked and tasted as if they had been cooked and left standing for a long while. Chips were lukewarm and shrivelled and the fish was dry (once you...More

Very rare you get a fish and chip shop which is just that! Happened upon the shop as me and my daughter were walking to the main street to find a restaurant. Glad we went in. Perfect portion size, fresh chips and the best thing?...More

We went here one evening for fish and chips, seeking real English fish and chips, just how it should be - and Mickey's firmly delivered. The portions were a good size, fried to order, really tasty crisp batter with succulent cooked fish inside. Definitely worth...More

A nice little informal place for a quick meal. The fish is well battered and crunchy. The chips are large cut and quite good. The side salad we ordered had a nice variety of vegetables in it but it was drowning in dressing. Good price...More

It's an okay restaurant, not extremely friendly to students or people on a budget. The fish portion is very small. "Mickey's big catch" is merely a medium-sized cod. The chips however is much better.
