Eat, work, play, this place has it all. Japanese salad boxes served along side yakitori boards. We went for the miso glazed salmon and the sweet tasting pork belly served with pickled slaw, jasmine rice and other goodies topped with herby oil and fried onion. Yum. Tiger fries and crispy squid came too, all washed down with ice cold Asahi. No room for their signature donuts but when you do, they can be burned off with the excitement of a game or two.
Life’s not all play as we know, so why not set up desk at the Badger? For just a tenner for a whole day, there’s WiFi, great coffee, a space just for you to work and a drink from the bar at the end of your shift.
This place has it all, lovely staff, great atmosphere, open kitchen so you can see it and smell it before you taste it, games galore, delicious eats and booze. Thank you Badger Badger for getting it so right right.

I love Badger Badger and we have been there many, many times. The food is always outstanding and the service is fantastic. Tiger fries are delicious! One time we were even given a espresso martini for free because the bar man was practising cocktail making.
Sadly, the major downfall is that when a party of 5 or maybe 6 enter- the booths are all often occupied by one person on a laptop drinking a glass of water or sipping on a beer for god knows how long. Families or large groups do not want to sit low down on sofas to eat a meal. If there is anything you can do to review/reduce this?
We have left without spending a penny a few occasions. It is such a shame, it may be the best pub in Deptford!

We didn’t participate in the board games, but for £5 a head for three hours you can rent what seems like any board game ever made.
Excellent choice of food. Very easy to over-order like us, so go with restraint and then order more if you need to.
Table service, friendly staff, good selection of beers.

The food here is outstanding. A small menu with Bao, salads and bbq meats. I had the bao my other half had the salad and we had some artichoke hearts to share, we then had the burnt toast ice cream for dessert. Some of the nicest food i've had anywhere! We only stayed for dinner but will definitely come back for a board game or two - couldn't believe the selection they have!

Badger Badger is the perfect place for a fun foodie night especially with the board game room linked next door.
If that’s not your thing then the table football and pinball is great in a small room at the back. Plus DJs play certain nights depending when you go.
But the real draw is the food, it’s amazing! From Japanese salad boxes and the pulled pork croquettes which are delicious, to the miso-glazed chalk stream trout you’re in for a treat. Even the tiger fries are ace with miso and crispy onions. I almost don’t want to shout about this place and it to myself, but it’s too good not to share and the chefs have it so on point they deserve a shout out.
For pub/bar grub it’s pretty awesome. We’ll be back for seconds, thirds, fourths …. :)

Pretensious, food fine for dining in the restaurant, so long as
1 you have a smart phone for QR code, and hope it works
2 get used to wine decanted and no labels!
3 use fingers to eat steak as wooden fork not feasible
4 you can pay by card but each time everything that is served (frustrating) no table tab

We went here with my brother and sister in law (both members) for some food and to play some of the games, and we had such an amazing, fun filled experience that we would definitely recommend this place to our friends.
Eve and her staff were not only extremely friendly and welcoming, but the knowledge they have about the games was incredible.
The food was also delicious.

Went with my brother as he had been telling me about this place for months. I should have come earlier!
Super lovely and friendly staff. We had two trout pokes, tiger fries and a couple of pints. We sat by the window, watching people walking by.
The place is spotty clean and has a really funky vibe. I WILL be back (and so should you if you're reading my review!

Stumbled across Badger Badger on a little walk. Thought I wouldn’t like it, but my girlfriend convinced me it’d be great. It’s not often I’ll admit she was right. Actually she wasn’t, it wasn’t great, it was exceptional. Great vibe, great staff, absolutely cracking food and incredible value. We’ll be back.

This is a great board game cafe with a really extensive library. Something for everyone my son (7yr) and I managed to have a great afternoon and lunch. The food was great and really good value. Staff were really nice and helpful too. We will be back.

I went with my 11-year old daughter, to play some board games and for us to have some snacks and drink along the way. I've been to Badger Badger a few times before, and on each occasion I've had so much fun. The bar area is pretty comfortable, there's a reasonable selection of lagers and IPAs, and the bar snack selection is excellent. What is Badger Badger's USP is the games area. There are about 20 tables and a literal library of games - RPG, simple board games, card games, everything you can imagine. One of my favourite things is the gaming staff. They're totally knowledgeable about the games, and they can help you pick out games according to what you're after - quick games, easy games to learn, something for a bigger group etc.. They're all totally lovely and welcoming. They're also dog-friendly, including in the gaming area, and were very kind to my big black Labrador. I couldn't recommend Badger Badger highly enough.

Food was so yummy! Food arrived hot, it was a taste sensation. There is a room where for a competitive price you can play a multitude of board games in a warm environments.

Really liked the friendliness of the staff, and the general atmosphere of the place.
We had 3 good, tasty meals and had plenty of room for the wheelchair used by one of our group. We'll certainly be back,
