I visit this pub regularly and always good. But not today. 21:45 hours. Two female bar staff, rude and no manners. Card machine put under my nose, no please and no thank you. Tonic from the tap which was not the correct measure. This was...More

Sam Smith pubs are a godsend in London with superb prices for beers and spirits. The best options are Taddy lager on the beers which taste great. My personal choice is the dark rum and ginger beer. This is my favourite Sam Smith pub because...More

Where else in the World would you get such a very impressive pub with good quality beer? Food was what you would expect from a British pub, not exactly haute cuisine but quite sufficient for most pallets and at a good price.A must to be...More

On a lazy weekend afternoon, sipping a pint of Samuel's Smith, without noisy music, just chatting and relaxing is all you want to do at this historic pub.An excellent pub to drop by and have a drink when you are around Holborn area. Though I...More

The pub is great and the interior is fascinating, an awesome setting for a good pint of the various beers. The prices are also exceptional, especially for London, again, I imagine this to be a huge draw for this brilliant pub. The problem lies with...More

Even though the pub was very busy when I called in for dinner at around 6.30, I didn't have to wait terribly long to be served; all credit to the staff for making sure everyone got served reasonably promptly. They couldn't have been more helpful,...More

This Samuel Smith Pub has London's longest bar, which was once a Medieval pub and then a 17 century coffee house. Drink while youre surrounded in brewery history.

This pub, near Chancery Lane, in High Holborn, is one of my favourite pubs in London. You enter through a door in High Holborn, and this leads you through to a magnificent baronial style hall of a bar with a high ceiling and several alcoves...More

This pub is a little gem, atmospheric and cosy. The fire was lit on a freezing day. We got a seat in one of the booths and could have sat there all night long. Great choice of beers and the food look very tempting. If...More

Inner London’s busiest streets crisscross quiet
cobbled lanes for an effect that can be urbane or
quaint – or an intriguing blend of both – depending on
the particular corner you turn. Due to its especially
convenient location, bustling Holborn hosts an
excellent range of hotels, eateries, and shops to suit
practically any taste or budget. With major
attractions like the British Museum and Somerset House
