Pesto with almonds? Oversalted. Pasta was quite greasy with poor olive oil. No seasoning on the steak, which was cook to the desired temperature but was a bit tough. Expensive for what it is. They tell you at the end of the meal “gratuity not...included.” Live guitar music lasted for 5 minutes. Rip off place, far better places within a few steps. Cost 90 £ for two, water to drink, two entrees, one appetizer.More

What a find in London!!! My husband and I had been sightseeing all day so on our return to the hotel, so we stopped at The Strings. The lunch menu had a variety of sizes of entrees (tapas, seafood, meats, pastas, and desserts). We decided...the charcuterie plate, the waitress suggested their bread. Delicious! We enjoyed our leisurely lunch with a glass of wine. We decided to go back for dinner after seeing the dinner menu. Another great meal. The owner sat down at our table and played several tunes on his guitar. We felt very special. The restaurant is near many London attractions. So if you are near Big Ben or The Eye, stop by The Strings.More

Gosh where do I start ! The arrogant staff , the terrible food or the terrible food (needs to be mentioned twice) i’ve never in my whole life been to a restaurant where I actually asked the chef if he thinks the food is good...here. Definitely a Ramsey moment! Conveniently, the chef who was Italian didn’t speak English, which made me feel more angry, because It was such an insult to Italian chefs around the world. Anyway point is stay well clear of this restaurant. It’s a total tourist trap, they don’t give a damn about their food and the staff are beyond arrogant. Oh yeah, and my martini glass had a chipped rim which no apology was given. The arrogance rears its head again.More
Came here with my boyfriend for a little date night to enjoy the live music. The tapas menu was great, but the cocktails were amazing. Especially the strings cocktail, The girl behind the bar was going above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was great...and all staff were very friendly, I would highly recommend this restaurant.More

Wow! The Strings is a hidden gem at west end of Westminster Bridge. Santy, the owner-chef-musician, does it all at this tapas & live classical guitar restaurant. All dishes were delicious and the mini concerts were just fantastic. Encore!
