Organised chaos. First time I've seen automated donner carvers. Huge portions. Tasty. Only minor comment is that the chilli sauce wasn't that hot. Look forward to returning.

I’ve been coming here for over 40 YEARS never ever disappointed. Everything is fresh salad chopped in front if you , kebab sliced in front of you and their juicy kebabs grilled in front of you. Portions are huge HUGE , one portion enough for...two . Prices have gone up a little as with all eateries but not as much as most. Guys serving you are friendly and very fast . Usually a long line but it dissipates fast and well worth it . Is it the Best in Hackney . NO It’s the best in London and maybe U.K.More

You won’t find many DONER kebab places that make their own Doner meat in house on site. Since a kid they have maintained a tasty and efficient service. I’ve read some of these negative reviews and I have to say these types of customers are...never happy. I only have great things to say about these guys 🙌🏽More

Food is delicious, wouldn't go anywhere else. Rang up to praise the staff and say how lovely the food is but i said im gutted i didn't order anymore bread as it tasted beautiful.... next thing i know... a knock at the door and we...have been given more bread for free, the customer service is brilliant, no complaints at all. I have to agree with a previous review ... the local Turkish crowd get priority over the rest . Ordered a wrap with chips and they forgot to put the chips in , second time it’s happened. It’s not just the local Turkish crowd that...go , please treat us all the same . Rather go to Super kebab down the road for better service with a smile .More

This was the only place that I would ever eat a kebab and I haven’t had one since the start of the pandemic. So I drove as I did from Ilford to Stoke Newington and was really looking forward to the same standard of food...and service. When I arrived there was unusually more people behind the counter; I know they do get busy but they spent more time speaking to each other and the 1 Turkish customer and completely ignored me. When they finally acknowledged me I ask for a kebab wrap which usually consists of them heating it on the grill but no the meat was little there was put straight on the wrap. The chap that put in the salad had sores on his fingers that were just healing and he was not wearing any gloves which would not have been a problem until it came time to fold my wrap which he did with his bear hands. I ordered a small wrap but when I saw how much meat went in I ordered a large but what he added was negligible. Really guys you would do well to remember that’s it’s not only your Turkish customers that keep you going. I was a real fan of this take away really hence the 1 hours drive to go there - it’s a shame I won’t be going again.More

I really don’t understand the hype maybe at one time they were good but I think this is one of the worse kebabs I’ve ate. First portions are tiny and it’s so expensive. We got 3 kebabs and it was £22.50 I’ve never paid that...much anywhere. This place doesn’t do garlic sauce???? What the hell which kebab shop doesn’t do garlic sauce. They really push for salad and sauce in separate containers be careful as they have old salad and sauce in there. The doner wasn’t all that and was cold. The pitta was probably out of date and cold. The most disappointing thing was the portion size of this paper thin size doner. Honestly please avoid this place their are much better doner places around that do tasty doner unlike this processed doner that these lot do. Try antepillar doner in green lanes the beef doner is so tasty and fresh and they’re very generous with portions and they don’t rip you off like this establishment. I have been buying my kebabs for more then 20 years at this place. Seen many staff come and gone. I’m going to heavily and honestly criticise the best kebab simply because I miss the original kebab badly!!!. 1. Since they put the automatic cutting...machines the portions have changed. 2. The doner is much much thinner 3. The quality of ingredients inside the doner has been changed over the past 5-6 years. 4. It taste so much saltier then before 5. The price is gone up and quality is gone down!! 6. It’s become more of a high profit business rather then that original best kebab that it use to be. 7. I have also heard rumours that they are trying to sell the business for well over 1M. You are a well established with reputation over the past 30 plus years. Please bring back the original Doner kebab.More

Just gets better and better . Fresh gigantic Doner Kebab (they have two cooking same time) huge ones. Salad is chopped in front of you and still juicy, their chilly is the best I have ever tasted. Portions are immense and value for your money...second to none. Has been here for 50 years , local landmark no less . Recently even mayor of London was seen there . Keep up your excellence.More

Buying a doner from this place is always disappoiting: the doner it is invariably soggy, old and smelly; they use meat that was cut from the skewer hours earlier. The salad which comes with the kebab is terrible: they always try to save money by...using the stub end of tomatoes, which most people discard, and adding loads of onions. The price is also not value for money.More

Used to drive there from Edmonton 15 years ago now live in Bishops stortford a long way away got the urge drove 40 miles for old times sake absolutely worth it doner wrap not greasy fresh salad the best kebab in London.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant for over 15 years!! But today was the final straw!!!!! Absolute joke!! I understand the management like to penny pinch but come on are you for real you charge sky high prices. Over the recent years myself and my...friends have noticed how the slice of kebab has got thinner and thinner. But we still Chose to eat here. 1)you always pick a large scoop of salad but drop half of the scoop only to place a tiny pinch of salad!!! 2 cucumbers, 2 tomato’s 2)Today you sliced the tomato and cucumber into tiny little pieces (please see pics) Honestly it’s Day light robbery!! Idont know how you get away with this. 3)please be advised DONT GET THE PRE PACKED SALAD ASK THEM TO DO IT IN FRONT OF YOU every time I get a pre packed salad it’s the same smelly old salad from the night before and the biggest joke is that they put the top bit of the tomato 🍅 in the pre packed box!!! Who the hell eats the top end of a tomato???? It’s clear they keep all the tops of the tomato’s for the pre boxed salad. I won’t be surprised if anyone finds the ends of the cucumbers next?!?!?!?? 4)The portions are so small of the kebab At least justify the price by topping up a load of fresh salad!!!! So you feel like you got something for your money?!?!? Or should I say so you feel full on the salad coz you sure as hell won’t on the kebab!!!!!! 5) be warned when ordering 4 large kebabs they only give you 2 chilli sauce containers. Your prices are so high at least give one sauce per customer. Best kebab you take advantage of your customers you clearly don’t care of the service or quality you provide as you think your well established not good.
