A pleasant pub, like many others I guess, however they serve my favored Czech Pilsner beer, the place isn't very crowded and the service behind the bar is friendly. I didn't had food there, and I guess I won't so I can't say much in...More

This is a hard review for me to write. When we stayed in Kensington two years ago, this was our go-to spot. Fantastic English pub vibe, excellent food, with sports on the TVs and a great beer selection. Alas, clearly a lot has changed in...More

I got an old note here and I don't think it was an accident. The new one has Winston Churchill on it, the old has Elisabeth the queen on it.

I really loved this place. Every time I was very well attended and has delicious food. The food arrives super fast and perfect. No doubt that it was one of my favorite places in London.

Lovely big pub. Lots of seating. Usual drinks at the bar. Shame these pubs sell lots of lager and IPA, as I love a good dark beer so end up usually having a cola. The food did was amazing and the portions were big. I...More

I've never really been fond of British food until now. We loved our British pies here. So flakey (sp?) and flavorful. Yum!! We ended up eating here twice because of the great meals.

We were pleasantly surprised that a Sunday roast still was available when we arrived in the early evening of a warm summer's day. The Yorkshire pudding was a little disappointing, but probably all the ones as shown in the menu illustration had been used. Otherwise...More

Service was good, atmosphere was decent and expected for a pub, but the drinks were overpriced. And, sometimes the same drink I ordered one time would cost more the next time.

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Here at The Gloucester Arms we endeavour to provide the best experience possible for each and every one of our guests. We provide a cosy and warm atmosphere to sit and enjoy all the food & drink we have to offer. Service is provided both at the bar, and at your table, whether you require a hearty meal or are just catching up with friends over drinks. We have a fantastic draught range, including two craft fonts and three cask ale wickets. We have a huge bottle range of craft lager and World beers, including a large variety of flavoured ciders. If you like your single malt Whiskies, you’re certainly in the right place! We also have a great range of vodkas, gins, and rums – whether light, spiced or dark. We also have our signature serves such as our ‘Grand Tanqueray Quatro’ and other cocktails We have the “Perfect 7” Whites and Reds to accompany any of our dishes, plus four Roses and a Champagne & Sparkling selection for that special occasion – serving Prosecco by the glass for any given Friday too we might add! ;-) We are proud to be serving Illy Coffee, Coca-Cola and Schweppes, as well as all sorts of other fruit juices and softs. We offer a lunch, an evening and a Sunday menu, and we regularly update our House Specials on the board. We specialise in Great British pub food: succulent pies, sausage & mash, sharing platters, tender steaks, gigantic burgers, and of course, the best cod & chips around! Our Sunday menu includes three homemade roasts – with a choice of beef, lamb or pork, accompanied with all the trimmings.
