I booked in advance because there was quite a lot of us, our booking was accepted within 24 hours, we booked for 4pm but when we were walking around London we got tired so I rung up the resturant to ask if we could come in earlier and they already had our table ready so we headed in early. Our table was at the back of the resturant, we were given prompt time to look at the menu, our waiter was so nice he was patient and took our order. Our food came promptly and we enjoyed all of our meals, we enjoyed the music and it was a nice time to sit down after all of the walking we had done. By the time we came to pay, it was so easy for 12 of us to pay seperatly, and we even got given a Christmas goodie bag before leaving We will definitely be back!

Fantastic place for anime lovers. I mean the murals on the walls are so impressive that at start you don't know where to look. We took loads of pictures. It is Insta worthy place. The interior is great. The glass roof windows were giving it extra light and atmosphere even on a rainy day. There is also a small anime shop for souvenirs and figures. For younger anime lovers it would be cool to see a bit more of Pokemon or Goku on the walls as it was just in one corner of the room. The theme is Naruto dominated. I would suggest this place for a once in a lifetime experience - yes. But would I return here - no. The food was good. Ramen broth was nice although a bit on the salty side. Bubble tea was fantastic. The choices are quite simple. Few starters, choice of 2 or 3 broths, 2 types of noodles and many toppings to choose from. The food was served very quickly, although we visited not during a busy time. It is great to have the condiments on the side. There were sesame seeds, salt, pepper, chilli, sesame oil, soy sauce etc on every table. Every table gets a free jug of water which was great. I must say that it is a bit pricey. Our order was one Uzumaki Ramen and the other one was simple build your own ramen with just 2 toppings and a bubble tea, and we paid £35. Also I only noticed this after I paid - we had a service charge of almost £4 included. It shouldn't have been added to our bill automatically. Also our waitress was ok, but not very attentive. We had more attention from another waiter who passed by a couple of times. So nothing outstanding service wise by our waitress. All the experience could have been elevated by the right waiter.

My husband and I visited Uzumaki London during the opening week. From the beautiful sign outside to the interior decor and food, you cannot fault anything. There is a great merchandise shop as you walk in, full of really interesting characters and very well priced. As you walk into the main restaurant, you cannot help but be struck by the colourful mural covering the walls, these have been painted by Andu and are real works of art, how the team have transferred what was a tired space into this anime themed oasis is hard to believe. Once you sit down you are greeted by such friendly and knowledgeable staff on all things anime. Hassan couldn't have been better, he chased to us, explained the menu and the history of the characters that we pointed out to him. We had the Ramen bowl and some sushi as we couldn't resist it having seen some come past us. This is a unique restaurant in London and the great thing is that you don't have to be an anime fan, this is also about exceptional Japanese food in an interesting space. If you like sake - don't forget to they one...

My boyfriend and I are avid ramen lovers, we have tried ramen everywhere to find the best place , this place had no flavour, is over priced, and is just a gimmick for what they offer. We ordered 2 ramens, a plate of chicken karage (friend chicken) and 2 soft drinks - a Coke Zero and one of those ramune lemonade. = £61???? No ramen place I have ever been too has cost me that much! 1) the chicken karage: was so tough. The flavour was nice but chicken was so tough. 2) Naruto ramen, boyfriend wanted to change the egg noodle ramen to udon which we said we will pay more, but they said no, so they said you could make the ramen on the “make your own” which we thought would equal the same amount, do not make that mistake it was not the same amount 3) uzumaki ramen: for both ramens, both soups has the miso broth, it lacked so much flavour, no matter how much of the oil or spices they gave you on the table. It lacked so much flavour. Also it’s busy, we get that, but you can eat a ramen whilst you’re constantly being brushed pass by staff, we had to ask the family next to us if they can move a little in just for us to eat properly. If you’re going for aesthetic go, it’s an absolutely lovely place, the paintings and the glass roof. But that food was absolutely the worst food I have ever eaten as a ramen lover that has been so many ramen places in London, avoid this place at all cost.

Fantastic place for anime fans, though honestly I've had better ramen at lower prices elsewhere... now that said, the staff were amazingly friendly and the food was nothing any way bad, but 21 quid for a so called double portion can't be justified by the quality or quantity of the ingredients. The sides were decent actually.. the gyoza better than say Wagas, the karage a little too much like chicken nuggets for my taste, and the broth had a slightly ureac quality that comes from the pork ( and reminded me why I don't eat pork).. but the 3 kids I was with who love ramen and anime absolutely loved it, and I've already recommended it to a few people, so it must be good enough...

It’d been a while since my homegirl had chilled w my gf and I so I took em both out to get dinner at Uzumaki, knowing they had a shared interest in Japanese cuisine. Upon arrival, our server, Sarai, met us promptly by the door, found us a cosy table and answered enquiries about the menu before taking our orders and ensuringour mains and desserts came with a good time in between and in sync so we could eat and digest together. The venue is an anime-fan’s dream, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly, quick, proactive, attentive and caring, the drinks are delicious and the food is delectable. There was really no broth left in our bowls.

To say this was a great experience would be an understatement. It's welcoming, the staff is attentive, and I mean they are authentically loving what they do. Anime fan or not you have to admit it's an amazing place. Not to mention that the owner was the one that painstakingly created all of the wall art. Bonus points for that for sure. They even have conveniently have merch on site. For me though, it's the food and flavored Sake that did it for me (Always buy a carafe - you can thank me later). My serving team of Simone, Faiza and Eliza were nothing but amazing. All in all, if you're in London, and you enjoy good food, an unpretentious place with a sincerely wholesome vibe while being around great people, head over to Uzamaki London. 5/5

Upon arrival we felt instantly welcomed as staff were so incredibly cheerful and polite. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming. Rita greeted us very nicely and took our service. She is such a bubbly character and made us enjoy our visit even more - Thankyou Rita, keep up the great work! The food didn’t take long at all and was very satisfactory. They also have some of the best bubble tea we have ever tried for such a great price. You can tell they take pride in their cleanliness as the restaurant was spotless and so well presented. 10/10, will most definitely be back. Thankyou !

My partner and I went to Uzumaki as we enjoy anime, ramen and big fans of naruto. We went to uzumaki before when it was a small shop that only had 6 tables at the time and it was great to see it expand. the food as usual was amazing, it was warm, flavourful and had plenty of add ons with it. Definitely better than the ramen you’d get a Wagamama’s. The reason I haven’t given it a full rating is because the service was below standards. Anytime we needed a server we would have to call for them, this included when we wanted to order food and drinks, get the bill and pay the bill, I would say maybe it’s because it was busy. However it seemed that the people right next to us would be attended to their every need. They were able to order their food with ease, they were asked if the food was okay if they needed anything extra if they want more drinks etc however we did not get the same service which was quite disappointing. It was a little bit more irritating to see that there was also an automatic gratuity tip added on, usually this would not bother us, however, it was more in the case in point that we felt like we were ignored the entire time and we even have to ask for the card machine in order to pay a bill because no one was coming to our table. Overall, I would come back for the food and Boba however, I feel like the standards of service needs to be raised I understand it can get busy at times, especially during the Christmas period and you may not be able to have the standards to every single customer however to have a table next to you have the standards of service does make you feel ignored and not cared about when coming here.

Uzumaki London Restaurant left me utterly enchanted with its exquisite dining experience! From the moment I stepped into this hidden gem, I was transported into a world of delectable flavors and impeccable hospitality. The ambiance was enchanting, blending modern elegance with subtle Japanese touches. The restaurant's interior was thoughtfully designed, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the food – an absolute masterpiece! The sushi rolls were nothing short of perfection, with fresh, top-quality ingredients that delighted my taste buds. The Uzumaki Signature Roll was a true revelation, bursting with unique combinations that showcased the chef's culinary expertise. Aside from the sushi, the sashimi platter was a true highlight. Each delicate slice melted in my mouth, delivering a symphony of flavors that I won't soon forget. The service was exceptional, with the staff being attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to make our dining experience extraordinary. They were happy to answer any questions and made valuable suggestions based on our preferences. The commitment to quality and attention to detail at Uzumaki London Restaurant is truly commendable. This restaurant deserves every bit of praise for its dedication to serving remarkable Japanese cuisine in the heart of London. I can't recommend Uzumaki enough to all sushi aficionados and anyone seeking an unforgettable gastronomic journey. My dining experience was simply extraordinary, and I can't wait to return to savor more of their exquisite offerings!

I came here for my birthday on the 22nd and as an anime fan this was an ideal place to be. The food was great and added to the experience as the entire walls are hand painted with different characters. The customer service is crazy! My waiter was called Hassan and he spent so much time making the experience personalised and special, if you go here and get him as a waiter you’ve definitely lucked out. All in all, the food is really good but the experience itself is 10/10 Even if your not a fan of anime it’s definitely somewhere to try

We wanted a Japanese restaurant for my anime fan daughter’s 18th birthday celebrations, and found Uzumaki online and booked for 8 of us. A wonderful place with brilliant anime cartoons on the wall and lovely tableware and glassware. Great atmosphere and buzz, but not too noisy for the more middle aged and hard of hearing(!). What a fantastic experience; nothing was too much trouble, the staff were so friendly helpful and professional. My daughter was given a birthday gift bag and a special dessert with a candle. The food was delicious… We all had Ramen and loved it. The starters were really tasty. We drank different flavours of sake and also beers and soft drinks. Tara our waitress was fabulous, so friendly and helpful explaining the menu to us and suggesting some dishes. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this restaurant for any meal out, it is special enough for a celebration, but also would be a wonderful stop for a casual meal. Delicious, fun and a huge success. Not too expensive when you consider we had 3 courses and quite a bit of alcohol which always bumps up a bill. Thanks to Tara and the rest of the crew for a wonderful evening out. We will be back!

I'm a big anime fan and wanted to share this passion with my mum. She doesn't really know about Anime but was curious to find out. Even she was amazed at how nice it was inside. Especially all the art around here was like a constant TV. Additionally, the food was very fresh and the waiter Zoltan really brought energy to the table and sparked the experience to a whole other level. The overall experience was enjoyable. Thank You

It was a very nice place, good atmosphere and lovely artwork. The tables was very nice as well. However they have a very limited menu, which is a bit expensive. The Ramen was so, sooo good ! But the Bubble tea (we tried strawberry and mango) was just horrible, and the merch is unusually expensive.

What a “hidden” gem. Walked past it with friends on my way to British Museum, and knew we had to circle back for lunch. Came right when it opened and was immediately seated at a lovely table. All staff greeted us on the way, and were so sweet. The seating area is surrounded with murals of anime characters. Our waitress Rita came and took our order right away while joking along with us. She was also so kind as to give us recommendations, when my friend found out, that something she wanted wasn’t halal. Food was just perfect, flavorful, warm and came quick. Especially since we only had an hour to eat before an appointment elsewhere. The table had chili oil, sesame oil, chili flakes, s&p, soy sauce and more. At the end we easily split the bill and had a lovely concoction with Rita. The place even has a small shop with anime trinkets and jewelry, which resulted in us buying chopsticks and earrings on the way out. Great experience that came out of the blue. (Referring to the attached photos, I ordered the Bankai beef ramen as well as some karaage chicken. Highly recommend)
