I am thankful that despite being a Sunday Morning around 1030am, I didn't have to queue at all, there wasn't anyone queuing anyway. I had a seat by the bar as I was alone and was thinking of walking over to Portobello Market from here. As this place is hidden amongst the residential houses, you might easily get lost. Thanks... Came here on a Saturday for a late lunch. Some TripAdvisor reviews I had read commented on this place being pricey and the service not being that great. £14 is pretty standard these days for a burger but this was one of the better tasting burgers I've tried and it was worth the price. Possibly the best courgette chips I've... More

We found this place online and they don't take reservations, but on a busy Friday night we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for 2 at 6:30pm. We ordered drinks at the bar while we waited, a white sangria and local cider. The tuna poke over avocado small plate was very good as were the miso... More

On Friday I enjoyed a wonderful birthday celebration at Granger and Co with friends and family. This is my favourite restaurant in London. The service is super friendly (a special thank you to Daniel and Alex). The food is absolutely delicious and fresh (I recommend the chicken schnitzel). I can honestly say that this was one of the best birthdays... More

Came here for breakfast and waited for about 30 minutes. The service was adequate and the food was excellent. Tables are close together so if you are looking for a private and quiet place I would avoid the Granger.

Dined mid-week at Granger & Co Notting Hill with a friend. Even though it was busy, it felt intimate and had an upbeat energy. We were told there would be a twenty minute wait, so decided to get a drink at the bar. Forty minutes later we were seated. Communication was good. During the wait, the Maitre'D kept us informed... The hotcakes alone are worth visiting this place, though all food we had was great. Prepare for a pretty long wait outside, as the place is always packed and they (understandably) don't take reservations.

Finally we made it to this well-known establishment of the famous Australian restaurateur Bill Granger. What to say, the food was very different and fantastic. The fact is that if you want to try something which is authentic , but is not in the fine dining category - Granger and Co is the place to go. The menu is very... More

We got there on Saturday morning and the place was packed. We waited outside in the rain and the nice hostess gave us our coffee order while we waited. The food was sooo good, I had the ricotta pancakes and the avocado toast.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
