Came for a quick pre theatre dinner. Shared a heritage tomato salad which was deliciously tasty. Followed by the massive Côte de Bouef. Well cooked to medium rare, probably slightly underseasoned. Lovely to see that comes with choice of sauce and marrow for free, unlike...More

My wife and I visited 34 for brunch yesterday (16th July). The staff were extremely courteous and attentive and not annoying. The atmosphere was nice - not at all stuffy. The food was excellent. We shared the lobster thermidor and the buck rarebit, both really,...More

I expected much more from this restaurant based on the reviews I had read on it. There is nothing wrong with the food it's just very average and quite expensive. The service was horribly slow and got slower as the night progressed and the restaurant...More

A late dinner ... Chopped Vegetable Salad, Steak Frites, Peanut Crunch with Blackcurrant Sorbet ... all shared. The Chopped Vegetable Salad was particularly good ... and the fresh bread and salted butter were enjoyed also! Good service

We enjoyed a delicious meal of Chateaubriand. The serving was huge even for two hearty eaters! Several sauces are available and we chose the Bernaise and it was perfect. The service was efficient and good, however, our waiter could have been a bit friendlier (we...More

I'm from Texas and know a good steak when I have one. When the concierge at The Beaumont suggested a steak place I was hesitant. We had been vacationing for over 10 days and I had been disappointed in all the steaks I had tried....More

Description
Located just off Grosvenor Square (entrance on South Audley Street) in the heart of Mayfair, 34 has become a modern-day classic since it opened in November 2011. Burned orange banquettes, oak parquet and a colourful contemporary art collection give the room a warm and inviting look, highlighted by the bespoke charcoal grill in the open kitchen. The grill, also known as a parrilla and fed by natural fuels, was custom-made and imported from Argentina. Head Chef, Harvey Ayliffe has developed an eclectic menu, using the grill not only for beef, but also for seasonal game, fish and shellfish. "Lobster mac" is a perennial favourite, and there is a wide variety of salads and lighter dishes for the less carnivorous diners.
