Nice pub, good location, great, friendly, welcoming staff, good selection of drinks, nice pavement area to front row sit.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Probably the single worst pub I’ve ever been to in London. And I’m born and raised in the city. Walked in 2 minutes before my friends were arriving. I was stood texting them when the landlady/manager shouted at me “what do...you want to drink?!”. She is English Caucasian with awful tattoos covering her arms. I then said “oh I’m just waiting for my pals to arrive, they’ll be here imminently”. I said “I’ll use the toilet while I’m waiting”. She said “you can use the toilet when you order a drink. If not, there’s the door”. I said “excuse me?”. She said “why are you still stood here then - there’s the door”. Absolutely shocking. Needless to say, we went elsewhere immediately. Never ever been spoken to like this before. Disgraceful attitude and behaviour. I will never ever step foot in the place again and encourage nobody else to. Vile woman. I received the most appalling customer service from a woman named sharon. I was immediately greeted with an attitude by her and then served a pint that tasted like it had been sat out for hours. Completely flat. I was disgusted and could never think...of anywhere I’d want to return to less. Avoid this pub at all costs.More

This was a after work drink with friends. Nice pub but seriously the staff need customer service skills. Okay selection of drinks but fairly pricey. Staff are strict and unfriendly. Toilets are somewhat a little bit poor. Really dirty. Outside of the pub is a...beggars paradise, you will constantly will be harassed with people asking for change or cigarettes.More

I went here on a business meeting with a few colleagues I was served by a short middle aged woman with glasses I was immediately greeted with a foul attitude along side a whopping aroma of bodily odour I felt second hand embarrassment it made...us sick to our stomachs the smell she gave off as I had brung my work colleagues here to close a deal I was also spoken to in a inappropriate manor by a short white male security guard I will not be returning instead of battered fish it was oily and soggy the peas were dry when requested for the bill the middle aged woman demanded for a tip and when I refused she carried on to mutter under her breath I’m embarrassedMore

Stopped in there for a drink with two of my friends and as I was about to get served the security approached me and wanted to kick me out because I might cause a scene as I was a bit drunk. Never in my life...have I been treated this way or judged by anybody. As I was making a complaint they kicked me out and I was gifted with a sarcastic wave by the individual behind the bar. What a great way to be treated this way. Will never step foot in that pub again.More

A beautiful English pub located near the fashionable london bridge area of London. It has a unique charm of its own with highly professional staff. i only went there for few drinks, and was very impressedwith the setup. it is worth a visit any time...of day and night.More

Just in a nasty position in job. Had a lovely experience with afternoon staff. Then at 5pm agressive nasty member of staff throws we off stable. You should be ashamed of yourself.

This feels like a proper old school boozer but is great for a swift half on the way to the station. Has a large outside bit which can get very busy. Only downside is the plastic glasses.

Very bad customer service and I was spoken to in a rude way! Also I was bought a drink by a friend and I was told I wasn't able to use the toilet as I didn't buy the drink myself Bizarre, unwelcoming and unprofessional.

Gorgeous from the outside looks like a nice traditional London pub. BUT PLEASE DONT BE FOOLED. Once inside the staff were so so rude. The landlady was so rude and I even saw one of the staff in tears. Apart from the young lady in...tears the staff were discourteous, outright rude, no customer service skills and appeared to be 'ganging upon another members of staff. I wouldn't recommend going here. This is not the way london should represent itself. A truly horrible experience we didn't even stop to finish our drinks it was so unpleasant. Apart from feeling so un welcome the place was dirty, we saw mice by the bar I think environmental health should visit. Thank goodness we didn't order good!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!More

Awful avoid, bought drinks, then sat outside for a while. Tried to use the pub toilet and was what I can only describe as intercepted by the landlady/ manager. Told me I couldn’t come in to use the toilet as I wasn’t a customer, tried...to explain so she even got security involved, who were so embarrassed, they apologised when she wasn’t looking to me outside! Absolutely terrible way to treat customers, there are so many lovely, friendly places to have drink in the area. Suspect they only reason they’re still open is because they’re by the station. Reading other reviews, you’d have to be pretty desperate to by a drink in there, never mind want use the toilet. Avoid at all costsMore
