Nice location. Went on a Friday evening. It was empty except for a line of half a dozen seated locals blocking access to the bar and chatting to the bar staff who were laboriously serving some of them. I don’t mind waiting my turn but...More

We always come here when we visit relatives in London and absolutely love it Whether it be in the winter when it’s nice and cosy inside or summer when you can sit outside or even sit in the square if there are games of boules...More

The Prince of Wales is nice enough but nothing special of itself: it's small, with a limited selection of beers and a food menu courtesy of the freezer section. But where it really shines is the location in Cleaver Square, a lovely South London location...More

I can't believe it, they had 6 taps of ale and none of them were on. This was my first trip to the POW and has always been recommended to me. But there was nothing I could drink! What?

My friend and I met there last night for a bite to eat and a drink, never again. The guy behind the bar was incredibly rude! There was a sudden influx of people so he was busy, but there was no excuse for his rudeness...More

We visited today for the first time on the day of the Kennington Village Fete. We did not want to leave!! The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and all the staff were prompt, courteous and engaging. A special mention has to go to 'Pete' the bartender....More

I have been a regular at this pub for many years....and I have watched it's gradual decline to a soul-less, depressing local pub. There is no interaction between staff and customer (apart from one long term staff member). Food is well below average. Beer tastes...More
