I went with my partner and our friend on Christmas day .we found this restaurant on google and checked the menu online and the Christmas menu was 36.50. The service was good and very friendly staff the food was ok nothing special apart from the...manu we ordered a bottle of wine costing 33 pounds, the surprise was when we got the bill. 400 pounds, when we asked the waiter why we have been charged 100 pounds per menu he wasn’t really clear just sais that for Christmas day it would been a different price. I think this is completely wrong way to treat people i will never come back and would not recommend to anyoneMore

Booked for a birthday meal and paid £15 per person deposit. Never been charged this much at any restaurant, but it’s where my daughter wanted to go so we booked. Food good (some dishes a bit OTT on salt, garlic and lemon), restaurant busy and...lively atmosphere. Friendly staff and one came over and asked if it was a special occasion. We said it’s my daughter’s birthday and later the waiter approached and asked if he could do something for her birthday. We said yes and just after the lights dimmed and they brought over a plate of profiteroles with a candle and sang happy birthday. A lovely touch we thought.., until the bill arrived and we’d been charged for the profiteroles! I really wanted to say something, but my daughter didn’t want to make a fuss on her birthday. Instead of taking a hit for the £1 it must have cost them and had happy customers, we now wouldn’t go back.More

We went here for a change as we hadn’t been for about 2 years. What we noticed though was that the portions were much smaller than the last time we went along. I had a nice cocktail there, a Cosmopolitan, and the food that we...had was nice enough - starters of a Fish Fritto Misto and for the mains the lamb cutlets and monkfish wrapped in ham and a rum and raisin ice-cream as a sweet. The service was rushed in that you couldn’t really relax and we also noticed this time that if they seat you to the back of the restaurant which they did this time, the acoustics aren’t very good as it’s very noisy so I was pleased to leave as I was starting to get a headache. The meal was also very expensive for what it was.More

Haven't been to Ninos since before the first lockdown and really noticed the difference. Portions seemed much smaller, but prices the same. The chicken escalope used to fill the plate..this time about half the size, duck was hard and chewy and potatoes were burnt. Very rushed...service, 3 courses in just over an hour, not the relaxed evening meal we were expecting. To top it off there were 2 children running up and down the restaurant while we were eating .. definitely think twice before going backMore

Three of us invaded this gorgeous eatery on Tuesday night, and we weren't disappointed. It was an early table, but the place soon filled with happy diners. The decor remains unchanged: low lighting and romantic. As always we were greeted with warmth and laughter. We...were shown to a window table, which was perfect. The chat and happiness soon flowed with Tiago and all at Nino's. Armed with a perfectly concocted Aperol Spritz, and regaled with lovely background music, we made our selection from a varied menu. There were ribs and Mango al Granchio; these starters were divine: the ribs were full of flavour and melted off the bone, while the crab and mango were refreshing on the palate with its contrasting taste - stupendous. There soon followed Pescatriche and Nino's Gamberone Linguine: the monkfish wrapped in the smokiness of the parma ham was exquisite with all the trimmings; while the king prawns and linguine were perfect in texture and taste. This culinary perfection was christened with a light white wine: Orvieto Amabile, chilled to perfection and which complemented our meal wonderfully. We were too full for desserts but concluded our gastronomic safari with black Sambucas, black Americano, and a cappuccino. Plus, complimentary ones from our gracious hosts - grazie mille. Our heartfelt compliments to the chefs for their talent and hard work, and a huge thank you to all at Nino's for the laughter, chat, and brilliant service; it was so good catching up with all of you again. We will be back soon. Until then, keep smiling and be happy. Ciao.More

Sunday lunch with friends and it was delightful. My starter of carpaccio of beef was the best I have ever tasted. I followed this with skate in burnt butter and capers and spinach with garlic and it was very good. No room for dessert but...had the affogato with Frangelico liquor and it was the perfect end to a lovely meal. My fellow diners were all happy with their dishes too. Hope to return in the near future.More

Five of us went to Nino's for the first time last night, after it was highly recommended to us & we were all very impressed with everything, from the welcome, service, decor & most importantly the food. There's an extensive menu plus a very good..."specials" one, deciding what to select isn't easy. We all had different meals & we all thoroughly enjoyed what we had. Their portions are generous & their cocktails are delicious. It was extremely busy, so booking is advisable.More
