I came here a few days ago with my parents and was greatly disappointed. Not only is the food overpriced, but is mediocre at best. The wait staff were only attentive to the drunk, old couple next to me who were off-putting to say the...least - snapping their fingers and shouting loudly. Will stick to The Grove pub around the corner. Do not recommend coming here.More

The saltimbocca monkfish was to die for! So delicious and everyone was licking their lips, from the paella to the pasta. Thank you!

Nice pub inside, the selection of casque ale was small but well chosen and exquisitely well kept. Food was great, my (Italian) wife and I had pasta and enjoyed it very much. My Sister had the roast dinner and it looked amazing. Just wish I...lived round the corner.More

We have been there for lunch at a very sunny and hot day. The outside area is really nice. I think it is good for drinks after work as well. Good drinks selection. I had a Cesar Salad as a meal. The weird thing was...the Anchovies in there. Never had that before and I don't think that really works. Our waiter was outstanding. Super friendly, attentive, helpful. The food is a bit pricey though. It is not the typical pub food. Good place.More

We went to the Dartmouth Castle on a Saturday early evening and it was not that busy. We had booked a table which we thought was a good idea as we were eating before going on to an event. The staff were really lovely and...the menu was great. I had Chicken and Chorizo Crocketas for a starter and for my main I had slow roasted pork which was delicious. I can say that this was one of the nicest meals I have had in a pub for ages. We really enjoyed the fact it was an old style pub, not one of these chains. The bill with wine, 3 starters, 3 mains and one desert came to approximatley £40 per headMore

Opposite the Luma Hotel where we stayed. Initially a bit raucous but soon settled down. Courteous staff and reasonable pub food.
