First of all, I was not in this Street Kitchen but in the on just under the underground that seems to be quite new. Anyway it's the same business and my review is applied to all of it from what I saw. Everyone was very nice there and the food was succulent ! We went there on a random choice... More

Great Vietnamese street food and very very fast. But equally as tasty. Only a small amount of seating but food is the star.

A great selection of food that's cheap but yummy....amazing beers to drink all night and the best place to meet a ton of young fun people. This is a must do for locals and not locals alike. The new winter indoor place rocks - much better than the outdoor version. Great vibe. Tips: don't bring a big bag, wear comfortable... More

Bought a burger from the airstream (on Broadgate Circle) after arriving into Liverpool St by train famished. Friendly staff despite miserable January weather which was clearly hampering business. The burger had loads of flavour and was everything I want a burger to be. Prices are what you'd expect for a food truck, think it was £7.50 which was worth it.

The shop next to the airstream sells "gourmet sandwiches" so I thought I would give it a go. I love salt beef so went for that option. The flavours were very nice and it was a very very good sandwich BUT it was £7.50 and measured a measly three inches in length so don't expect it to be really sufficient... More

This was one of the few experiences where I got exactly what I expected and for the right price. Well designed and simple to execute dishes, well trained staff and excellent location. Well done Jun Tanaka and Mark Jankel.

Great sandwiches, especially the rare beef. Some are available by the inch so you can order exactly how much you like

We called in to Street Kitchen's cafe in Broadgate Circle a couple of weeks ago. I had the best sandwich I have ever eaten - and I am 72! It was beef and lots of other really delicious things in wonderful bread. My husband really enjoyed his ham sandwich, with a whole poached or fried egg in it too. We... More

As per the title... Also do great crispy chicken at lunch and one of the best breakfast buns in London (slow cooked porky awesomeness in a brioche with eggs from a chicken that doesn't live in a tiny box). Good guys, great food.

It's about time I wrote up a review on this little gem. Been here 10-20 times, and every time it's the same high standards and smiling service. Basically a silver American style trailer that serves just wonderful lunches to take away. From crispy chicken on crushed potatoes, beetroot and salad... to pretty amazing burgers on a Friday (only) cooked medium... More

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
