Fantastic pub. Small and relatively intimate with great choice of cask and craft beer, friendly staff, (what looked like) great food and a loyalty scheme that sees every 10th pint free. The pub is owned by the team who run various exemplary taverns in SW...More

They have free Wi-Fi and good beer. That's what I needed. But really, the food is nice, the atmosphere it warm. Take a break, have a good Cider or beer and carry on the trip.

can't understand the fuss about the bearded man - he is one of the nicest, most attentive pub people i have ever had the pleasure to meet - all of the staff are fabulous. it's not really a football pub so maybe that's why matey...More

We accidentally had the privilege of meeting The "infamous bearded man. "What a delight. He ended up personally waiting on us. Maybe we had no problem because we weren't a problem or rude. The food was good so was the beer and I would definitely...More

Upstairs dinning and the beer variety is fair. Food was really nice and the service quite quick. It's not too big so it might be worth making a reservation, we were lucky to find a table.

The infamous bearded man strikes again. Dropped in to watch Man United vs Chelsea on the television, maybe get something to eat. By the time the match started, 80% of the people in the pub were there to watch the game. Five minutes in, still...More

Been coming here for years but the new manager is appalling - telling the customers to be quiet, asking them to 'shush' .... really?!!! This is a central London pub and nobody was being loud. One to avoid from now on if you want to...More

One of the first places I've been when I moved to London. You wanna try good beer out of the "normal" choices?? Go there! Since day one I feel like at home. A place that you must go!! 5*

Beers merely ok and the place itself is fine. The bearded Scottish barman however is a disgrace to the service industry. Rude, petulant, childish and arrogant. Having read a few of the previous reviews, I'm now shocked to hear that this charmless man-child is the...More

Definitely upstairs where we sat which was very nice and had a fireplace. I think that at lunchtime the main part would be fine but it was an after work crowd in the evening.
