Seems like a nice restaurant but we didn't eat there because my business partner went to the bathroom before we settled down and witnessed a male kitchen staff member go to the bathroom, take a dump, leave the bathroom without washing his hands, and then...proceed to take food out of the cold room and go back to the kitchen. We told the manager - hopefully the guy has been fired. Unfortunately we won't be back there for that reason.More

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad breakfast at Blue Legume! Alway quality produce, always filling and despite always being busy you don’t have to wait long. Staff lovely. Drinks and food consistently great! I’ve been here numerous times with my sister and it’s...our go-to for brunch. The menu is extensive and there’s a great choice outside breakfast too. We had a very disappointing visit here on Saturday 11th February. No one checked in with us during the meal to see if everything was ok. The food was not testy. we all did not finished ours dinner. left the half in the plate. They...did not charge one of the meal and they did discount but won’t be back and would not recommend.More

WORST restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The waitress we had was VERY rude, didn't even bring us water when we asked, split some of our Prosecco when pouring and didn’t bring us our starters, even though we asked for them TWICE, our mains were brought...and our starters were just ignored. The food was very bland and not filling in the slightest. No one checked in with us during the meal to see if everything was ok. Definitely won’t be back and would not recommend.More

We went there for dinner, we ordered mezes like hummus, mutebbele, girit, Stockholm bread "they are amazing", rakılık and 2 times GEZI. They were all very delicious, the staff are friendly and the service is fast and good. Special thanks to Mo, John and Nebiba....We will come again for sure.More

We had been to the Blue Legume in Stoke Newington where we had a marvellous lunch and tried to order what we had had there. It was very disappointing. The chef decided that on Saturday he didn’t do rice with the stuffed pepper or soup....They couldn’t offer even a large cool bottle of sparkling water, only warm Perrier which I returned. The salads accompanying the food were doused with the usual creamy rubbish dressing and not a patch on the vinaigrette at the Stoke Newington branch. The falafels were mean and again lacking the lovely texture of those from the Stoke Newington restaurant. The prices were very reasonable so at least that was a blessing. All in all disappointing.More

Great food, prices now way too high. Two pieces of cake and two soft drinks was £20 including service. We’ve been going to the blue legume on and off for years and the quality of the food has always been great. Went in today after...not having been this year for coffee - waitress was nice but seemed intensely rushed and you had to ask a few times for things. When our cake came the slices were very small but they’d presented them with bits of fruit and some dressing. We ordered a juice and a coke - prices for these items were on the 3 menus we were given so we were quite stunned to get a bill for £20 at the end Clearly the cost of living is having an impact on all of us but this pricing is just ridiculous and needs to be looked at.More

Many times I’ve wandered up/down Upper Street when meeting one of my besties for lunch and we are never organised to book anywhere and we were drawn to The Blue Legume yesterday on a lovely sunny afternoon where we could sit outside and watch the...weddings across the road which kept us entertained for a few hours! Service - without exception every member of staff was efficient and friendly! Food - amazing and perfectly priced and good portions ! We shared a salad as a starter which was amazing followed by the chicken skewers which were delicious. Wine - certainly enough selection for us and we opted for a nice Pinot Grigio which went down well. Coffee - As someone who drinks black coffee there is no disguising bad coffee - they passed the KK black coffee test where many fail! Whilst we were lucky to sit outside we checked out the atmosphere inside - we will be back! A thoroughly enjoyable time and great to support an independent restaurant! For anyone going for lunch or brunch Monday- Thursday they have excellent fixed price menu which I will be trying another time ! Well done to all staff - I wish that there was something similar in Winchmore Hill where I liveMore
