We always have to try out Indian food wherever we travel. We ended up in Cinnamon after having a look in the reviews on Internet. The location of the restaurant is perfect and a good way to finish after your shopping day. As you get into the restaurant, you can feel a great atmosphere in a very busy restaurant. Authentic,... As this place has mixed reviews I decided to give it a go while in the area to get something different from the standard Indian fare. We were in the lower ground room, very noisy and without any atmosphere, but the real disappointment was that most dishes could have been nice if the balance of spices had been mastered. I... More

Arrived just in time for the 2 course set menu. Hummus and Biryani. The portions were good and the flavours were amazing. I would definitely go back

I visited Cinammon Soho with some friends on a Friday evening. Please note that you will have to provide card details to be able to book a table, but money isn’t taken and it is to ensure that people will show up. We promptly got a table, even we arrived 30min late. Later on, as we didn’t like the location,... More

Visited many times and recommended to many but saddened and disappointed at visit this evening. Not only had the restaurant lost any ambience, the food was of poor quality. My butter chicken tasted like it was cooked in a tin of Heinz tomato soup and coloured to match! Have always enjoyed our meals here before but this felt like a... More

Great food ( especially the cauliflower). Ursula was extremely friendly and accommodative. Even when the restaurant is booked out on a Thursday , they try their best to make space !

Cinnamon Soho is the worst place to ever visit! We had made the booking for the Valentine's Day menu! The menu was hopeless! The food was pathetic, no taste, bad presentation! The portions were not appropriate! Keema paratha was tasteless, which was served as a starter! The rice in the kheer were undercooked! The service was the pathetic! After we... More

This was the first time in Cinnamon Soho on Valentine's Day. Pathetic service. Received attention after 10 minutes of being seated. Got water after three requests. Poorly planned menu for such an occasion. Poor presentations. No concept of sharing platter though mentioned on the menu. Very small portions. Main course served in tiny bowls with hardly sufficient rice for an... More

This was some of the tastiest and most original Indian food that I've had for a long time. My daughter had the whitebait to start and I had a tasty hummus, but the star of the show was my chicken Biryani main course. Absolutely fantastic.............. and not too expensive for London prices.

Timothy Great review! We certainly serve the best Biryani in town and its great to hear you felt it was very good value-which of course it is. You must visit us again to try our other tantalizing delights from our extensive selection and you will once again have an amazing time! Thanks again Guest Relations Cinnamon Soho More

We found this restaurant by chance, and it was a wonderful surprise. Food is very good. Great indian plates, and wondered service. I recommend it!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
