I like this restaurant. It has a shabby chic quality. There's a street stall vibe. The staff are friendly. It's good value. Not expensive when compared to most London restaurants. It's not posh. It's more relaxed. If you want fine dining or some hint of fine dining this isn't the restaurant. It's great for meeting up with friends but maybe... More

Your description of Cinnamon Soho is pretty apt and thank you for your 4 * glowing review! All of our restaurants are individual and eclectic-but the food and service style and swagger of the Cinnamon brand is the best in town. Enjoy ! Kind Regards Guest Relations Cinnamon Soho More

I work nearby and in 2.5 years had never once visited until about a month ago. I am now a weekly visitor for the excellent £12 set lunch. You get a choice from 5 starters and 5 mains and all are superb. Service is friendly and quick (just what you need at lunchtime) and there is never a problem getting... More

Booked online and the pictures looked different of the restaurant from what we saw online. Food was well spiced, tasted good. Service was helpful but a bit slow at times. If I'm being very critical. Not sure what the concept is. Waiters looked very casual, and a couple of times had mistaken them for the public, bar area looked very... More

We booked for 2 people for 8pm on Saturday night but arrived early. We were shown to our seats somewhere in the middle. My boyfriend is 6ft4 and the waitress kept knocking his chair to reach the couple sat at the table nearest the wall, she could've asked him to shuffle in slightly but didn't utter a single word. In... More

The service is very poor. The staff is not friendly. When I arrived at the door and advised that I had a booking the waiter pointed a table from the door....there are loads of tables in a restaurant. I just picked one since he didn't bother escorting me to my table. It's not as if he was busy doing something,... More

Food amazing. Staff very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately our waitress didn't know very much about most dishes but she did call her colleague a few times to ask for help which was a good recovery. Our first bottle of wine was also corked but quickly replaced, so again not a problem. The food was insanely tasty! I don't usually like... More

Never dine in with cinnamon soho as the staff is unhelpful, for 20 people their will be only 1 staff ( trainee) food orders will be messed up as it happened to our table . Complaining won't help as they don't care and at the end you will be stopped at the door to pay charges which are not even... More

Service We were received by the manager which by far had the worse, yes I said it. The worst communication skills ever! We were pointed over to a table at the very back of the restaurant. After being seated for about 15mins, I tried to get the attention of the manager 3 times before giving up and asking another table's... More

We ordered Calcutta cod, shammi kebab, indo-Chinese chicken, chettinad lamb and garlic naan. The cod didn't taste mustardy, the lamb was North Indian skewered meat in a South Indian sauce, and the chicken looks like burnt pieces of chicken that was neither indo nor Chinese. The garlic naan was dry and cold. Definitely wouldn't go. On the plus side the... More

Kingly Street, just behind Regent Street is clearly the place to try out a new restaurant format. And it is buzzing. As was Cinnamon Soho - very busy on a Thursday evening. The place is designer scruffy, and I think too scruffy - it's not comfortable, and it feels that they really don't care about their customer, which they do... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
