We popped in for a quick bite and I had a good cooked breakfast for £7 was very much what the doctor ordered. Person.sat near to me had a pasta dish that looked good too. Recommend if you want simple inexpensive for London food.

Been here a couple of times as its close to the office. Gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time and had a very average panini. The staff were pretty rude, to the point where I almost walked out before ordering. Anyway, got my grub, and it was poor quality, and quite expensive for what it was. With... More

Visited with wife and granddaughter. Friendly, efficient, good variety of food, redolent of the Italian Cafes of the past. Great value for this part of London, just by Regent Street. Highly recommended.

I was looking for some veg when I get off in Sant Pancras Station and this restaurant seemed a good choice. I asked for a greek salad that was really good. It is difficult to find a simple salad in London and I was so happy! The staff was really friendly. I totally recommend this place.

Is a greasy hole in wall in comparison to the glitz of surrounding roads but provides good cheap Panini's etc. Coffee is bearable. If you want to pay half what you would pay anywhere else around here and just need a 2 minute stop it is fine.

Seems to have a decent choice but it is very lack lustre. We had paninis which were not the best in taste or presentation. It is only small with too many tables making it very cramped, best sitting outside if the weathers nice.

just wanted something simple to eat without having a McDonalds or other fast food store meal and found this just off Carnaby Street on Kings Street. Don't be put off by the tables outside because the food is good. There is something for everyone from Panninis Jacket Potatoes upto Lasagnas . The food was served well and we didn't have... More

It's not the best food around but it's local and convenient especially when other places are shut. The food is average for the value for money ambit every time I've been in there, they always forget the sauce!!

I have huge problems with some of the previous reviews - pricing is very good and staff are lovely!! I have visited Cafe Pomodoro a few times in the last 5 years. I usually pop in Sunday morning for an early lunch after my morning shift. This is the best time to come its very quiet. The staff are great.... More

Well contrary to what other reviewers say we visited this place last Wednesday for the second time in a year due to not living in London. We had lunch as we did the first time and was very nice. This can't be as bad as the last reviewer said because the twice we have been there the queues have been... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
