Vadi was a local gem and we have been huge fans and regulars for years. went Friday 4 November for a family birthday. On entering it seemed different, staff unfamiliar and had liost the friendly bustling atmosphere. The menu has changed and prices have increased massively-. the Vadi Special is now called the family platter. It was great value at about £59 but is now £79.99. there used to be lots of sides of dips and entrees that arrived automatically but these had disappeared The food was still good but it was much quieter than usual especially for a Friday night and the former atmosphere has completely gone. The. staff have mostly changed and were ok but didn’t do any of the specials birthday treats - (bring out s cake with sparkler sing happy birthday) that they did on previous visits. We used to love Vadi and whilst you expect prices to have gone up in the current climate this was a 30% jump and the general experience and service has deteriorated a lot. Disappointed and a real shame. Will be looking for another local favourite.

We had dinner at Vadi last night. The service provided by Tutku and the rest of the team was first class - attentive but not intrusive. The sea bass and salmon were delicious. The portion sizes are very good and the bread, salad and dips provided are an added bonus. The tables are nicely spaced out so we did not feel close to other diners.

We've been to a number of Turkish breakfasts in the local area, Crystal, Aksular, Kervan and the choice you're normally offered is excellent. We visited Vadi on Sunday as we had seen the board out the front advertising buffet breakfast. When we arrived we were welcomed pleasantly, and advised that breakfast was 'unlimited' and to help ourselves, £12.50 for adults and half price for kids. The selection was poor. The only thing out that had been cooked were hard boiled eggs and the borek which I am guessing was bought in. Everything else was cold food and I can literally remember it all now, plate of sliced cucumber, sliced tomatoes, sliced melon, grapes, cheese, plate of luncheon meat, olives, honey and butter. Bread was brought to the table. What a poor offering for over £12, no cooked eggs, spicy sausage, pastries or even chips would have been OK! There was another Turkish family there and I think they were asking the same thing, is this it?! I asked about juice, I was told to help ourself from the fridge, just a large cartoon I had to open myself and put back in the fridge, nothing out in jugs and only choice orange or cherry juice. My son normally goes for apple so opted for a small bottle of water, that was an additional £2. All in just under £40 for some cheese and bread! Really disappointing and would not recommend at all.

Ate here tonight! Wow! Couldn’t believe how the prices have shot up!! Free starters are gone! Had a very very sad looking salad then had to pay £6.50 for hummus that the waitress shows you what there selling from a very large tray that sits on the counter ALL the evening!! Both had mixed shish one with rice and one with chips! Served on a much smaller plate!! 5 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of lamb! That’s it!! Never again !! Try The Fox pub instead!!

This place used to be great and i still think it has potential. The menu has a good selection on it, the staff are friendly and the actual quality of the meat was tasty and good. However the negatives are there's too many staff attending to your table which can confusing things for themselves. The bread was cold and dense. The cold starters felt room temperature, and on a hot day it wasn't that great to be at that temperature. The lahmacun wasn't tasty in comparison to other places, the bulgur/couscous was cold, the calamari wasn't nice, tasted like it was cooked from frozen and the price was very expensive we felt for what we had. I would get a takeaway from here saying that, with some sort of meat and side (rice/chips/bulgur etc) with a salad, we liked their chili and garlic sauce. Overall with a few improvements this place could be fixed to a great place so I wouldn't rule this place out completely in the future.

5* experience. I took my mother out for Mother’s Day. The experience could not have been any better, literally! We had three complete portions (lamb chops, lamb shish, and lamb donner. All three with rice). In all honesty, the quality of all the food, but most especially the lamb, could not have been more tender and succulent. Not only were they extremely generous with their dish sizes, but they also add on a large bowl of pomegranate salad, cacik, hoummus, bread, and onions and mushrooms before the main course, and homemade baklava and fruits at the end of your meal — all on the house! The staff, all under the management of the superb Manager, Mr Tutku, were all extremely courteous and welcoming. All in all, we award our experience with Vadi as AT LEAST 5*.

We were waiting for our clients, who were running very late, so decided to go to VADI Restaurant as we were in that area, in Palmers Green for a lite snack. ( Our first ever visit) The atmosphere felt amazing as we walked in. All the staff who served us, Naz, Pepe, Yaser, were extremely professional and very friendly indeed. Manager, Pahsha was very attentive too! The food was superb, with complimentary fruit platter, complimentary Turkish tea, and complimentary baked on the premises fresh melt in the mouth baklava! I also enjoyed a large glass of my favourite Turkish wine, Yakut. We are definitely going to be regulars and I cannot wait to visit them again Thank you to whole team at Vadi Restaurant. SEE YOU ALL SOON!

I took one of my oldest school friends to Vadi for a catch up and a belated birthday treat. We ordered one starter but were treated to 3 other lovely cold starters with the usual lovely Turkish bread and plentiful salad. I ordered my favourite, the lamb shish and my friend the fillet of sea bass which as well as being beautifully grilled came with not one but 2 fillets and some lovely side of vegetables as well as the usual couscous and for me rice. We thought that we would push the boat out and share a baklava. But even that came with cream and a free rice pudding on the house which my friend nearly demolished on his own before I got a look in! We had this with lovely Turkish tea and fresh lemon slices which the smart and friendly waiter was happy to bring us. Overall a very successful evening. The food was plentiful and delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it!

Enjoyed a night out with family and friends. It was the tastiest meal we’ve had in ages. Beautiful fresh salads, delicious veggie food and my husband said the meat was spot on. Lovely, friendly staff. A perfect night out. Thankyou, we will be back soon. 👏🏼👏🏼

Delicious food for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, generous appetisers and friendly, thoughtful and professional service. Ayten, our wait person brightened our visit with her warm and helpful manner. We had the King Prawn Casserole and the Veg Moussaka! all fantastic, as was the rice pudding!

Starters very expensive and not presented very well. Main course ok but very pricey for what we had., nothing special. We felt quite rushed even though they were not busy. Bread very hard and cold. Drinks were standard prices.
