Surprised that this place has a fairly good tripadvisor rating. This was the worst restaurant experience we’ve had in Blackheath! We were kindly greeted when we walked in - the only nice gesture we had. We then realised that our table was very sticky, the...More

We have a couple of meals at Tziganos and have always found the food excellent and the service superb. This is one of the best tapas restaurants that I have visited and I have been to quite a few.

Me and my husband went for dinner here on Saturday last week. The service was terrible and had to ask for our drinks around 3 times. ( I did feel sorry for the young girl working very hard but on her own serving 6/7 tables)...More

Having enjoyed a meal at Tziganos previously, during a visit to our daughter in Blackheath, we were looking forward to a return to the restaurant, to enjoy once again, the delightful food and service. Very different this time, on clearly a very busy Saturday evening....More

Although we visited the restaurant at a very quiet time we found that some of the tapas dishes were lukewarm, uninteresting and also pricey. The pieces of toast that came with some dishes were so small and burnt! Generally poor value.

Very generous portions, exceptional culture. Worth visiting - certainly an experience I wouldn’t miss. I’ve been to several Italian restaurants and this one is unique!

Very cosy place. Friendly and welcoming staff. The food is the good kind of different from what we are used to in Southeast London. Very refreshing selection and exceptionally well cooked, absolutely nothing to complain about.

The name Tziganos translates to "wandering gypsy", which reflects the theme of our restaurant. Like the wandering Tzigano, our menu consists of a wide range of dishes from all corners of the Mediterranean including, tapas, homemade pizzas and a selection of fresh fish and meat from our handmade charcoal grill. We pride ourselves on the quality of our dishes and the highest quality of service around. You can book a table with us and be safe in the knowledge that your meal will meet and exceed your expectations. Come and try any of our chefs specialities or beautifully prepared traditional, Mediterranean favourites and you will not be disappointed. Kick back and unwind with one of our hand-crafted cocktails or carefully chosen wines and let us guide you through the sensational flavors of the Mediterranean.
