Very decent traditional pub with good beer (London's Meantime) and actually good food. We were 4, we ordered pies, burgers and couple of pints. The place was not overcrowded however we had to wait for a meal for about 1 hour, which was quite inconvenient....More

Busy but with a nice atmosphere. A proper pub and worth checking out if in the area. Great selection of beers. We stayed at the bar in the rear which had more room.

Great pub, Great choice of beer. Food better than 'pub food'. Went there with some old friends just before Christmas with a view to moving on to a restaurant for lunch. We decided to stay and were suitably impressed.

Being in Southwark we stumbled into here, fortunate really because in the New Year it’s due a refurb. Another classic Pub near to the Borough Market. Very busy when we visited but good atmosphere.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest
