After dancing and dining we wanted a drink before heading home. We both said the Ritz at the same time. We had two glasses each of the Ritz pink champagne. It was perfect.

Service, food, cocktails all superb. Staff very friendly and attentive. One of my favourite places in London. This place is defiinitely worth a visit and the price. Go and be coddled and spoiled. Nothing is too much trouble. Forget some of the other 5 star places, this is England as overseas visitors imagine it to be: slightly decadent, slightly eccentric... More

This is a great experience and fully lives up to what you would expect at a hotel whose name means luxury. In art deco style, beautifully furnished with attentive staff. A classic, classy experience with great cocktails and wine list.

A wonderful bar, and great for people watching, although a bit expensive if you stay there for the whole evening!

A beautiful little bar which serves smart and expensive snacks. Entry is restricted by dress code even for hotel residents ... trainers not allowed for example ... my wifes £200 clean silvered walking trainers were rejected. Sadly we noted others with grubby sports trainers at the bar. It depends on who you are and who you know, perhaps.

We decided to have lunch whilst waiting for our room, yes it was a nice place BUT very expensive. I think it is overpriced.

I took my wife mother and daughter for a cocktail at The Ritz. Walked into the Rivoli bar where there were some empty tables only to be told by a snooty barman there was no room. Tried to get a drink in the other lounge and had to wait as some tables were reserved. Eventually seated. Service very mediocre we... More

Staying in St. James's

Neighbourhood Profile
St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.
