Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The menu was completely different to the one posted online for which they made no excuse. Pizza’s were the only thing on offer & these were so badly cooked that two out of 8 were inedible & the others were soggy. & half cooked. The...manager took forever to come over & address the issue. I would never attend this restaurant again. Bad food, indifferent manager. One of our group recommended the waiter (who tried his best) go work somewhere else .. She was right.More

This was my favourite Italian restaurant in London. Visited mainly the one at the embankment till it closed then visited the one in Piccadilly since. Being Italian I know my pizza and food when is spot on and this seemed to be as good and...close as I have when I go home. It has always been good in this restaurant until last night 27/08/22 we booked a table for 3 we arrived early and they accommodated us early. Very good. We waited ages to be served. We eventually got remembered (not that the place was that busy) a young waiter came we ordered drinks and olives to start with. Drinks took ages to come once my husband complained that the drinks were taking ages the waiter said yes we have one bar downstairs he goes away next min he comes up with the drinks….obviously they were sitting downstairs. Then the waitress comes to ask if we were ready to order yes we are we replied my husband and son were going to order pizza me pappardelle with ragù….the place has been revamped since we’ve last been and the menu has been change too. Hardly any choice of food on it but we though we’d give it a go…..she goes ok give me 1 second…..she disappears again then next min she’s taking orders from another table. By then the food was passing by to other tables……the pizza looked burned, tasteless and not very appetising at this point we decided to leave. We called the waiter asking for the bill we paid and left. On our way down on the table behind us I saw a plate with what I could make it up it would have been the pappardelle ragù I was going to have. My heart sunk thinking of what I could have had. It looked pasty, anaemic and a mess. So glad we didn’t stay. Shame a real shame. This was one of a good chain Italian restaurant the own that is gone down hill. Unfortunately we won’t be visiting again. As I fan of another great Italian #number1 restaurant for me ROSSOPOMODORO in Covent Garden we walked there we were welcomed with a smile the place was heaving the staff work so well together in there all synchronised and nothing is too much for them. The menu has a good variety and is all exquisite and the pizza …..OMG just like being at home Sorry fratelli la bufala but sort it out.More

Pasta was too salty and tasted really bad.. I couldn't eat it. Also quite expensive for this quality of food. Don't go here for pasta. The only plus is that the staff there were super friendly.

This used to be a good restaurant a favourite. This time it was terrible. We went as a family for a pre theatre supper. We tried pizzas and pastas. First disappointment: only half of the things listed on the menu are available. If that is...a permanent thing the menus should be reprinted. Second disappointment: whilst the two pasta dishes we tried were good the pizzas were terrible poorly cooked burnt on the outside and dough was uncooked inside. Third, the dessert we wanted to try (Ricottina) was also not available and when we ordered tiramisu instead they took our order wrong (only brought out one portion instead of two). By that time we could not wait longer theatre starting soon. The tiramisu was not great, whilst the cannoli was good. And overall the service was sub standard waiters hover around a lot to whisk plates away but don’t offer to take orders or bring food or drinks. This is not the experience we had in the past (pre covid) perhaps this business suffered during covid and for that we are sorry. But there is no excuse for serving a meal like that. We asked to remove the service charge from the bill. It was not deserved. We were promised a free dessert next time we go… too little too late, frankly. We won’t go again unless we are convinced it improves.More

This place was really, really awful - please sort it out as location great?! Wet and burnt pizza No vegetarian pizza and got charged for adapting a ham one My friends risotto came out with mushroom not butternut squash - like rice pudding Rude staff...And had to wait ages for wrong dish I wouldn’t have bothered with this review but the best thing you offered for our pitiful meal was no (optional) service charges.More

They had no chef so no starters or pastas available. Only half of pizzas were available and it was a very busy Sunday. Service is also not professional. The waiters are not prepared and they cannot even read the menu properly. Pizza was delicious, but...that's about it.More

Agency “manager” was extremely rude, was rolling his eyes at one of us because she did not get what she ordered and had the audacity to attempt to rectify that, all staff in black where what I can only assume as part of the agency....The girl with our drinks came over, didn’t say a word and then just places the tray down and stared at us to the point where it was so awkward we just grabbed our own drinks from the tray. None of the staff were attentive, there was one girl in a white shirt who was very pleasant and sorted out a problem for us straight away. Because of the manager who rolled his eyes at us we asked for the service charge to be removed but he refused saying that was not allowed. I would say there is potential if there is their own enthusiastic staff but if the agency folks are in (black clothing vs white smart outfits) avoid like the plagueMore

We had a beautiful dinner served by 2 fantastic waitresses, but it turned sour when we easily observed the manager talking to both of them like they were a piece of dirt. Upon closer inspection, he seemed to have a laugh with the lads who...worked there, but gave an unnecessary grilling to the blonde/yellow haired girl that made us feel all very uncomfortable, even though she was absolutely incredible. Avoid this place if you see him.More

My family and I went to have a Pizza during the week end. The quality of the dough is excellent as well as the cooking point, very friendly and professional management and cosy warm atmosphere, perfect also if you have babies. You can see the...pizza chefs making pizza on site which make it an extra experience and you get to taste real Italian recipes. Waitress was very smiley and friendly and clients around seemed to be satisfied as we were. What we also found nice was the variety of pizzas and tried some new recipes never tasted before. I did enjoy so much that I forgot to take pictures ! Definitely recommended and we will use this services again.More

Traipsing around the area came across this establishment that looked like the right sort of thing, reasonable prices and choice. Not disappointed. Luckily only got one pizza to share as otherwise would have had one over! All good, quick friendly service. Would certainly re-visit.

Ordered 2 pizza and 1 parmigiana - arrived after 45m. Both of our pizza were wrong - fine, mistakes happen. Waited 10 more minutes, they delivered the wrong pizza, again. Eventually they managed to get it right the third time. The Parmigiana was blend, no...flavour, no seasoning, no salt. I was seating the whole evening looking across a “storage room” of the restaurant where you could see a probable staff left over dinner. Disgusting. You might want to make sure your customers don’t see this. Upon paying the bill, they charged us for the wrong pizza too! They then realised and remove it promptly. My question is: don’t you check the bill before serving it to us? I paid it in full (including SVC) without making any scene but the lack of attention and empathy from the girl that presented us the bill was quite frankly shocking. I expect to be contacted back by a manager ASAP to receive a compensation. I feel it’s the minimum you guys can do. We were table 40.More

Well located, near Piccadilly, Soho, and theaters, friendly place where I could taste a very good pizza (personally I dont like the esternal part way too big and made a special request for a thin one as you can see in the picture) thanks to...the pizzaioli Antonio and Alessandro and to the warm welcome of the host and Samir. Try scugnizzelli (fried pizza dough to dip in sauces) and olivata, as well as homemade lasagne!!!More

After we received two of our mains, we didn’t receive the other two. Even after the first two have been eaten! So sad that they dont bring the food together at the table. We eventually left the restaurant, what a shame.
