Found this by chance when looking for something vaguely healthy for supper whilst working away from home. Excellent salad and falafel well presented in a box to take away and speedy service

Went to Borough market on a Sunday afternoon but the queues were of a stupid order. A poster in the window of Leon advertising the unusual combination of Lamb Rhubarb and Chickpea sounds like a good idea. As it turned out if was excellent. Not a lot of lamb, hardly any but it tasted good

If your looking for a fast fresh pick me up... Leon is always a safe bet. There is a variety of filled muffins in the morning as well as heartier choices throughout the day. I find some of the recipes a bit lacking in seasoning but the ingredients are always fresh. For a quick protein energy boost the small sliced... More

Visited for breakfast on a Monday morning. The outside belies its large, spacious and comfortable interior. I ordered porridge with blueberries and honey. Very tasty and plenty of it. Minted water in jugs to help yourself. Good value breakfast for £2.50 all in.

We popped into here, while stopping near by, so glad we did, we recognised the name as we have some of the cook books. I had a wrap and my husband had a box meal, very nice and tasty and we really enjoyed what we had, would love for a leon to come to Nottingham city if possible.

It was rainy, my phone was on on 11% and I'd walked all the way from Kings Cross, and I couldn't have ended up somewhere more perfect. I had a Leon Goni and it was truly delicious, warming and wondrously flavoursome! Fast and friendly service, filling and fulfilling food! Been before, will go again, no doubt!

Had lunch here during the week, it was quite busy but we found a table downstairs. We really enjoyed our food, the chicken was very succulent and tasty. The service was excellent, the lady who served us was very friendly and happy,

It's about the Leon at London Bridge...a cafeteria so strategically located and a boon to fellow train travellers ......who would welcome anything from a hot drink to a hot soup and a hot box....anything to stop the shivers of the biting cold out there on the train platforms!! Servers were friendly and 'fast' to the point...there's a wide selection of... More

Healthy fast food. I had sweet potato and okra curry and brown rice. My son had meatballs and rice and salad. Food tasty but not very warm. Also selection of sweet options. Muesli bar, pistachio and sweet potato biscuit. Smoothies and non alcoholic drinks. Service ok. Good if in a rush.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
