As previously mentioned the steak and ale pie was fantastic. The service was great and the atmosphere is rustic pub. I will definitely be back. Thank you fur a great dinner.

After finding The Queens Head through Trip Advisor we went with an open mind. We were not disappointed! The place is very 'pub like' but the food, service and overall experience was top notch - well worth a try. Maybe some better signage at the door to indicate the restaurant section is upstairs?

After ending up near this pub and reading some reviews on TripAdvisor we popped in for a late lunch/early tea. Warm welcome was received when we went up the stairs to the eating area. Having read the reviews ordered the steak and ale pie. OMG they are good. Packed full of juicy pieces of meat. If you pick this as... More

Had a meal here last week as we were going to see the Jersey Boys show next door. Had checked on previous reviews and a lot of people said how good their pies are. We all tried their pies and they are excellent( Home made). Lovely, characterful pub, dating back to 1736, staff excellent. Will go again next time I... More

Had a very enjoyable meal. The service was efficient and friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the large portions. The staff were extremely helpful to my partially disabled partner.

A warm welcome awaited us. The service was really good, helpful staff pointing out an empty table in a very busy pub. We ordered traditional fish and chips which arrived quickly. Presentation exceeded our expectations. The meal was delicious. The crispy golden batter encased a perfectly cooked meaty cod fillet. The chips were crunchy and crisp. Peas complimented the dish... Description
The Queen's Head is a small independent pub in the heart of London's West End. Capturing all things British, we pride ourselves upon stocking locally sourced ale's while serving homemade traditional pub food. Situated upstairs from our busy quaint little bar, the restaurant serves a menu of fresh ingredients from sustainable and ethical sources. Popular classics such as our delicious Fish & Chips and our homemade Piccadilly Pies are a big hit with our regulars and first time visitors alike. Next door to the Piccadilly Theatre we also offer a 2 course pre-theatre menu for just £14. If you're looking for quality food and drink, vibrant atmosphere, a building soaked in history and friendly staff then this is the place to be.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
