Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic pub in the heart of the theatre area. Difficult to get a table as it’s always packed but we got two stools upstairs. Service was good. Super pub vibe. We had a few gin and tonics before heading for our show. Unfortunately they don’t...serve food just a few snacks. We did spot the cutest dog in there though.More

I will start with how sorry I am this took so long to write. I should have done it immediately, but life got in the way. This is BY FAR our favorite pub in London. The look, the vibe the staff and of course the...drinks. Everything fires on all cylinders. Adding cream to the top, they offer live music. Not just any music, but quality. Queens Head is cozy and unassuming. You feel like you know everyone there and the staff treats you like family. Frankie, Will, Katey and Nicole are all amazing. When i showed them my home bar, they immediately collected items to add to my fun. Check them out in the pic section. We just cannot say enough about this Pub. It is always the first one we go to when we get to London and the ONLY one we go to everyday are there. GO GO GO.........You will NOT regret it.More

Popped in for a couple of drinks before going to the theatre last week and had an enjoyable time. This is a very lively pub right in the centre of London and a very enjoyable place to visit. Really feels like an old London pub and...would certainly return when next in London.More

Had been looking for somewhere to have a drink pre-theatre. London was crazy busy as it was the first Saturday in December. Found the upstairs bar at the queen's head. Good selection of beers and wines, great atmosphere downstairs.in the main bar and upstairs. This...independent pub is highly recommended! 🍷🙂More

I came to sit at the bar and outside for a couple solo pints. The drinks, staff, and overall experience were great, and I would recommend them to anyone. Cozy seating both at the bar, throughout the pub, and outside. 130-year old pub that survived...the Blitz. I look forward to returning on Thursday for live jazz & blues. I should note that the last Thursday of every month is a 3-piece live jazz/blues set (as opposed to solo).More

Great little pub with superb staff. They’re all exceptionally friendly and welcoming and it’s a wonderful spot for a relaxing drink, no matter if you’re alone or in a large group. The range of drinks on draught is a little different to the ordinary, but...the prices are great given the location. There’s a full range of spirits though, again well priced. Toilets are clean, the decor nice and traditional and I’ll certainly be returning.More

Nice to find an independent pub in the West End (Greene King and Nicholson's seem to be taking over every other pub). Found this when my wife and I went to the Piccadilly Theatre recently. Had a pint in the upstairs bar before the show...and then returned to the main bar after the show until closing. The staff were great and the beer was good (I had both the Sambrook's Wandle and Dark Star Hophead). Will definitely be back the next time I'm in the West End.More

Just off the busy streets of Piccadilly and Shaftesbury Avenue, you'll find this gem. Great service, lovely beers, spirits and wines to keep everyone well watered. A great atmosphere and perfect for pre-shows drinks which is what brought me there. I was enjoying it so...much I didn't want to leave to go to the show. Super clean and fresh toilets too; so a rare find in London. Highly recommended. I will make this a regular spot for catch up drinks or to get a bit of respite from the busy surrounding streets.More
