Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Four of us had lunch at Gustoso’s today. We had the most delicious Chicken Milanese and salad which is so difficult to find in London. I hope they keep it on the menu as we will be back!

11 of us went to Gustoso’s for a lunch. We had Menu A which was £42 each (with service £47.25). I have to say that the food was POOR. The starter (mine was the Bruschetta) was terribly salty, the main (mine was the chicken) was...also very salty & did not come with any vegetables. The Tiramisu was OK. The team that looked after us was attentive. Hence the two star grade otherwise it would have been just one star. I would also say the wines were expensive. The house Prosecco was £48.37 a bottle (with service).More

Michelin star quality from Tomasso. This week I had the special of breaded Mackerel fillet and started with the spaghetti with clams - they were both delicious and my guests were amazed that they could enjoy such quality at cosy neighbourhood restaurant.

After reading the reviews on TA I booked a table here for a set pre-theatre meal. Once sat down the maitre d gave us the drinks and an a la carte menu. We asked him for the pre theatre set menu but he just coldly...pointed to the a la carte menu and said this is it. Confused, we asked what we could choose from the a la carte that was included in the set meal and he then pretended that he didn't understand much english and told us there wasnt a set menu, and then said sorry I haven't updated the website. Very crafty . . So just to be clear they don't cater for theatre goers despite the website saying they do. 🙄 We walked out and found a lovely restaraunt nearby.More

This is a small restaurant, where one would expect a better and personal service. The service was atrocious, the only excuse being that they are understaffed and yet. The lady who welcomed us looked quite unhappy and stressed, almost annoyed when we said we had...a reservation. It took the staff 20 long minutes to take our orders, another 15minutes to bring water and then the drinks. Another 20minutes for the food. My pasta was 'molto Al dente', I would say uncooked, bathing with another type of overcooked pasta in a warmed up sauce. I'm feeling sick thinking of it. Other menus were bland (deceitful?) and looked very much like reaheated cold cuts. The food is bad. The wait was atrocious. And they bill 15gbp for the service! That restaurant was a waste of time and money that made me feel sick. I might feel sorry for the staff that looked overwhelmed.More

We came here for dinner while staying in Victoria for the Chelsea Flower Show. We were impressed both with the food and the service; we had the rosemary bread to start, which as another review points out is very thin and wafer-like, but there was...plenty of it and it kept us going till the main course. I had liver and bacon with spinach aioli; the bacon was well cooked and crispy and the liver was fine. I had a glass of very pleasant rosé too. Then I had mango panda cotta with passion fruit sauce, which was quite small but very good. Recommended.More

I met two friends here for lunch and we all ended up thinking that the experience was mediocre at best! The baked aubergine parmigiana was burnt and didn’t appear to contain any cheese! The calves liver and crispy bacon was totally tasteless and the bacon...was barely cooked - definitely not crispy! All the food was lukewarm. The staff weren’t that helpful or friendly. We were all of the opinion that we would not bother to visit this restaurant again. It was very pricey too - three people, two courses, wine, coffee, and a liqueur – £320! The restaurant is not user friendly either for people with disabilities as the toilets are down a steep flight of stairs. I didn’t see any lifts.More

We booked this restaurant after reading the reviews on here. We had gone to see Hamilton and the restaurant was not far from the theatre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and very reasonable. My husband had the lasagna and...I had the special which was spaghetti with prawns. We just had bread with oil to share to start and shared a pudding. We couldn’t fault any of the courses, they were all lovely. The restrooms were very clean and well presented too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.More
