Did the 1 hour Oolong tea tasting there and found the lecturers to be very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Sampled 6 different types of tea and each had its own characteristics. Quite an interesting experience if you like tea.

My husband and I attended a tea tasting while on our trip to London and really enjoyed our experience! The owner of the shop gave us a thorough overview of the teas we were tasting along with videos and pictures of how they were prepared by the growers. Tea is clearly the passion of the employees here and it shows... More

I attended a tea tasting here (held every Saturday for £20) this morning and it was a great experience. It's very informal but very informative! Tim is someone with so much experience and passion for the world of teas and he really makes you feel welcome and relaxed. He knows everything about the tea he sells, down to the names... More

I have visited tea shops all around the world... This is simply the best one. Amazing staff with an incredible knowledge, who selects teas from small estates all around the world. You won't find always the same producers: if quality is not coherent from one year to another, the tea will simply disappear from the stock, to be replaced by... More

Did a tasting of incredible green teas. Spoke with Tim who has been to the small farms and tells wonderful stories about the background to the teas. The tea tins are beautiful and you can even send a "tea postcard" to a friend anywhere in the world! These teas are so special supporting small scale farmers. Very unique tea shop... More

My husband and I enjoy Earl Gray tea, and lately finding good tea has been difficult. Our disappointment is laid at the feet of many large well known brands. On the recommendation of a friend, I sought out Postcard Teas during a recent visit to London. Postcard Teas has perfected the art of making fine teas, much like vintners who... More

All teas come in lovely tea caddies or can be sent as "postcards", hence the name. Just buy a special bag and drop it in the shops own letterbox. Definitely worth... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
