We visited here on a recent weekend to London and it is situated just around the corner from the theatre, a great pint and atmosphere, only small but worth a visit if you are in the area, great staff who are very friendly.

I dropped into the "Lyceum Tavern" on The Strand for some dinner after a meeting in London. The Lyceum is a pub first and foremost on the ground floor with a lively bar and cool 'drinking booths' (confessionals) to the side. Upstairs is another bar...More

Tiny place with good atmosphere. Full of young fashionable Brits. The Samuel Smith pale ale was excellent.

We went in around 7:30pm in a Saturday. The place had a good atmosphere but I really did not like the beer on draft. As an enthusiastic CAMRA member I've tried a few pints in my time but the Sam Smiths was not to my...More

I've never had a problem with service in there. There is the Wellington around the corner but that gets busy in the summer as it has an outside seating area.
