I had a really pleasant visit at Prince Alfred. I had excellent wine and snack, the people there were very polite, the place was clean, nicely decorated. Other visitors were also very polite, minding their own job. I was alone and it didn't feel awkward...More

Prince Alfred is a traditional british pub, like we expect a pub to be. The menu is a good mix of salad, english dishes and burgers. The prices are average and the beer good. We like the system with order and pay in desk, It...More

We appreciated this pub for its friendliness. The staff was really nice, the food excellent and there is a large variety of drinks. After visiting the centre of London, we went every evening to the pub to relax or enjoy the music. We felt nearly...More

Enjoyed the pork ribs but the Australian red (Harvest Moon) was a shocker. I left half a bottle and went next door (Tescos) and bought a proper Australian red (Penfolds Kununga Shiraz) for £8 which is cheaper than what I pay in Australia. I suggest...More

Really good pub with a great selection of beer and gin drinks. Tasty nibbles and live music. Head upstairs if you like a little more quiet.

We love our humble Queensway Pub. We love Gin, Food & Live Music Thursday, Saturday & Sunday! We have a range of draught beers! We have a range of wines! We have a BIG range of spirits... but we are a prideful pub and don't do cocktails. BEER is the way! We have a function room fully self contained with a roof terrace available to hire and open to the public everyday from 7pm. Rite outside our entrance we have a florist belonging to the lovely Chris that brightens up our pub and all flowers are available for purchase from 9am to 18:30pm daily. If you have any questions we'd be happy to help.
