Visited this place for a drink and catch-up after work. Decor and atmosphere was nice, if not a little loud due to the live band, but they were still a pleasant addition to the place. Unfortunately the service was not so good. Our waitress, Pauline, was (I hope) so new that she managed to make a mess of our entire... More

This bar had a really great atmosphere, the music by "party up" was amazing and they was very talented. We ordered some cocktails and the bar tender said I'm sorry I'm still training and we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for our drinks which was fine as we could listen to the music and enjoy the decor. Later we... More

The bar was very buzzy on Thursday evening, as you would expect in the City, with the outside terrace being quite full. We sat inside where the dimmed lighting and decor formed a serene atmosphere. The waitress was very pleasant and we were offered free bowls of nuts with our drinks. We had intended to order platters but they were... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your review. In regards to the platter price they are to be shared between 2/3 people which make the price per person at £8, maybe it wasn't quite clear and will make sure it is explained better in the future. However we are glad you’ve enjoyed your experience and hope to see you very soon.... More

As a cocktail bar in London it is beautifully situated 1 road away from Liverpool St. Lovely choice of drinks, from Classic cocktails to something on the rocks, a lovely dimly lit bar which has a relaxed feel about it and comfy laid back seats. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
