Excellent for a cream tea in that part of London. Warm and cosy decor even if it is a very busy place. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much! We had 2 tea pots (Jasmine and Earl Grey) chosen from a dedicated double-sided tea menu, 2 scones with cream & jam, and an extra cup cake. All of that cost less than 25 pounds in total. Good value for a venue in that part of London. The menu had for sure more expensive options, but in my opinion, you can stick to the classic and simple tea & scones 😉

Booked the traditional afternoon tea for my Mum's birthday. She is a fussy eater so I emailed a week before our booking to ask if they could tweak some of the sandwich fillings for her, was replied to straight away which was fantastic. When we arrived at the bakery we received fresh orange juice whilst choosing our hot drinks. My Mum had her own separate cake stand with her plain sandwiches so that they were not mixed with the rest which we found very thoughtful. Everything was delicious and we felt that the size of the cakes were just right, sometimes they can be normal sized and fill you up too quickly! We then had scones served warm afterwards which was a lovely touch. My Mum also received a cupcake with a candle and happy birthday chocolate plaque which I did ask for but was so pleased with. The bakery itself is a lovely setting, light and airy and the tables are not too close together. The staff were all very attentive and I could not find fault with anything. Would definitely love to return.

What a great combination, afternoon tea and a guided bus journey around London. My only comment would be to have a greater selection of sandwiches rather than cakes. However, the hostess was very friendly and attentive. It was my daughters 21st birthday so they brought her a little cupcake with a candle in and we all sang happy birthday, which I thought was a nice spontaneous touch. All round it was a very enjoyable tour and lunch.

Having done the the bus tour as a none vegan I had high expectations but it was very unimpressed especially as it was my 30th birthday. Firstly what was given was completely different to the menus which I understand can be down to seasonal differences but then the waitress should bring that to the customers attention. The sandwiches were ok although very average and all the pastries tasted very dry and not fresh at all. The scones were a huge disappointment as well, extremely small compared to the none vegan scones and tasted rubbery - also were not served with vegan cream or coconut cream which is something I had seen in reviews from 2018 that they said they would correct. The price of the afternoon tea is also £3 more than the none vegan ones which I cannot understand why. The only good part of our experience to be honest was the waitress who served us who wouldn’t have been more attentive but overall would not recommend and am very disappointed.

We went on the classic afternoon tea bus tour today. Food was very delicious - had the classic and the vegetarian lunch. Cakes are very tasty, and there was enough to bring leftovers home. The young girl serving us was cheerful and helpful, and we felt very safe with everything cleaned and adapted to allow social distancing. Lovely time and would certainly reccomend!!

Popped in for a quick breakfast, lovely little cafe / bakery. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they serve various cakes, pastries, savoury food and afternoon tea. If we’d been able to stop for longer we would have done. Very nice environment, and great to relax.

We have visited twice and love the sandwiches, cakes and scones. We added champagne to our tea, the choice of teas was fantastic and they kept refilling the tea pots..would go back again but buy a voucher online it’s cheaper.

I bought the Christmas lights bus afternoon tea tour for my faïencées birthday. It was absolutely stupendous. The bus was decorated beautifully, the cakes were delightful, the service was excellent. The guy who was serving us was so attentive and polite. When I first bought it I thought it was a wee bit pricey but damn it was worth every single penny. If it’s winter wrap up warm though cause it’s a wee bit chilly in the bus. Oh, this was just after lockdown as well and I thought they did a really good job with the distancing and stuff, all things considered. They had put up lots of screens and kept us all separated, it felt very safe.

I was so excited to do the bus tour with my Mum after hearing so many great things but we were both so disappointed! To start with, I woke up to say my train had been cancelled to London due to major train disruptions, I phoned and emailed the bakery straight away to let them know of the situation and how we may miss our slot, and asked what our options were. They said we could move the booking to 5pm (we had the theatre at 2.30 so couldn’t make this), or we could reschedule to a different date and pay an extra £22.50 per person to do due to the loss of food. I completely understand they have to think of their losses, but an additional £45 after i’d already spent £140.20 I thought was a bit ridiculous. I asked because of the circumstances and how the trains would be effecting so many others, and I was still hoping to make it, if they could waiver this fee at all, she disappeared for a while and told me no. We luckily made it on time for the tea, but were both so disappointed. The sandwiches had started to go stale where they were left on the tables in the heat, the clotted cream was sat on the side near the window the whole time, there wasn’t an awful lot of food (usually they refill), the menu was out of date so we didn’t actually know what we were eating, you couldn’t drink the tea because it was so hot and you have to keep the lid on because you’re on a bus so took an eternity to cool, the actual ‘tour’ side was pretty non existent, i’m still not sure what we actually saw and looked at, and couldn’t hear the recording because the bus was so loud. I so wanted to love this but it wasn’t £140 worth at all. I never leave bad reviews but I’d hate for someone to experience the same as what I did. I did try emailing the bakery after my booking but have heard nothing back, hence the review now. All in all, there are much better afternoon tea’s to enjoy in London - try the Alice in Wonderland themed, that is amazing!!!

Had the picnic for two. Glorious weather so sat in regents park. The tea consisted of a couple of dry finger sandwiches and a dry roll. A quiche which was nice and a scone cream and jam. Four very nice bitesize cakes.orange juice and a coffee. For £23 I would have expected the sandwich not to taste like they had been made first thing in the morning. Overall an OK box would I do it again probably not

We had 4 VIP seats booked for xmas lights and were contacted to inform us we were cancelled, this was professionally managed. However we have yet to receive either refund or information as to how to get refunded as we are re-routed to generic email informing us someone will be in touch. This is very rude, we would expect a person to keep us updated as to what is happening. And yet we receive regular offers of new events! It is a hard time for everyone but manners cost Nothing.

We were a party of six, and had booked the afternoon tea, in a separate room, as a birthday treat for one of us. Our expectations were exceeded. Service was friendly and prompt. Our server, when, at our request, taking some photos of the whole group, even helpfully suggested the pics would be better if she took them from a different spot in the room. Excellent advice. The food was plentiful, clearly freshly prepared and delicious. The tea / coffee was both bottomless and also mix and match if you wanted. I.e. after a pot of earl grey, you could get a pot of Ceylon (with another cup and saucer provided). Additionally, at one point, the birthday girl got an extra macaroon biscuity thing with a candle on top, so we were able to sing happy birthday to her (Maybe this is standard now ??) All in all, if you are looking to book a celebratory afternoon tea for a group, I would have no hesitation in recommending Brigit's Bakery

I booked a post theatre table for my young god daughter and her sisters as I wanted to avoid a huge Fortnum’s sized tea for such little girls. When I booked the table the website gave the impression We could order to their appetites, however when we arrived we were told we had to order the children’s tea. I have to order gluten free and all they had were macaroons for me. The children ate very little and we were landed with a bill of over £170. If I had known, we could have had a much better experience at Fortnum’s the Lanesborough, Peggy Porchen or the Ritz rather than the highly coloured, quite tacky looking cakes at Bridget’s. Waitress was sweet and welcoming.

I've always wanted to do the bus tour Brigits do around London but just as I was about to the pandemic struck. The day lockdown was lifted 5 of us went to the Bakery for Afternoon tea for my friends 50th. Covid rules of masks for staff were aheard to and we generally felt amazing in there. It's bright spacious clean and very boutique feeling. The staff were brilliant very tentative and looked after us the whole time asking if we needed anything else making sure everything was OK and changing the sandwiches to suit our vegetarian friend. The food was to die for I've never tasted nicer. The rolls were warm and fresh all different. The cakes were just as impressive and absolutely gorgeous. The scones at the end were warm and fresh also. We had a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice as we sat followed by prosecco and then unlimited, teas ,coffees, latte and hot chocolate. Nothing was too much for the staff. I will be revisiting for definite and also booking the bus tour this year for sure

We went here for lunch - we’ve done a couple of the bus tours & visited the bakery in Bath, so thought we’d try this one - it’s a lovely place & we were seated downstairs as the main area was full - it’s surprisingly big, with lots of small areas downstairs, there was only us in our area. We had the lunch deal which was a sandwich, a cake & pot of tea for £19. It was nice food, but I definitely preferred the afternoon teas we have had in the past. Now I’ve been, I probably wouldn’t go again unless I just fancied a cake.

Dear Nicky, Thank you for your review and for your loyalty! We are glad you enjoyed our lunch selection, we try our best to maintain affordable prices but as any other business in London we do not escape the continuous rise of the cost of raw materials therefore we have to adapt our cost to keep on providing top quality products. Once again, thank you for taking the time to give us a review, we hope to see you soon again, maybe on the Boat next time ;) JP @ B Team
