Had lunch here before Mme Tussauds. Food was excellent and atmosphere great. Very friendly staff and service was very good despite being very busy.

We found this listed about a kilometre from our hotel but it was worth the walk. The house white wine was very good, wife had the Gnocchi, and I had the special of the day, Salmon, and both were a hit. We finished it off...More

This was my second visit to Blandford's. Lunch this time. Place was busy but got last free table (without reservation). Two of us shared the Anitpasta della Casa as a starter (okay, but not noteworthy). For mains we had Lasagne (excellent) and Costata di Maile...More

From the outside, Il Blandford's does not look like a great place. You could almost mistake it for a coffee shop. When you are in, the owners who are from Sicily make you feel comfortable immediately, they bring you delicious olives while you review the...More

Went here on a Friday night sans reservation- and the owner offered us a seat outside (it was really cold!) where we had drinks and complimentary olives while we waited. The servers were super friendly and attentive-- and very Italian! We ordered the specials- burrata...More

This restaurant doesn't look much, but the food is authentic Italian and the service friendly. This isn't a big chain staffed, the servers and chef I spoke to all have an interest in making your meal pleasant. This was my first visit, but it was...More

Lovely food with such attentive hosts - small and intimate but don't judge the book by the cover. People drop in to chat with friends who are dining, very informal but refreshing. House speciality is escalope milanese which was excellent, old favorite Tiramisu was great...More

The greeting and service was very friendly. Food was beautifully prepared. Lovely big green tasty olives. The best bruschetta stacked high with sweet tomatoes. Pizza with a lovely thin crispy base and puffy edges. All delicious. Why do so few Italian restaurants get it right...More

Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods
cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience.
Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged
between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the
southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of
Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as
pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The
bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it
