Just ate here and it was awful. Ordered a veg breakfast and I received a meat one, I complained and they took it away. However all they did was remove the meat and add hash browns as if I was stupid and wouldn't notice everything...More

Work near by and struggle to find a decent cafe for weekend breakfasts. Tried this today and found it to be okay but not great. Service was slow and the bacon was a bit strange looking. (seemed like that turkey bacon stuff but tasted okay.)...More

The place is fine for a snack, or perhaps for breakfast. It is basically a deli/coffee shop with okay food. Service was okay. They did try to please, but there is not much you can offer to change the nature of the food. There are...More

We had breakfast at this place because the stylish Kensington hotel we were staying at gave us vouchers with a 10% rebate. The style of the café wasn’t in keeping with the quality of the hotel and, despite its name, there was nothing French about...More

Well I was out with my friends looking for a place to eat, after an exhausting morning. We were famished until we stumbled across Cafe du coin. We proceeded inside to see what there was to offer. I took an English breakfast which was outstanding...More

This place seemed like decent value for the area with an English breakfast for about £6.50...that is until you taste it. Possibly the worst breakfast I ever had to endure in my life; disgusting beans, half cooked crappy eggs, 'bacon' that was like a bit...More

We had Croque monsieur and a vegetable sandwich for breakfast. Delicious. The oven didn't seems to be working too well, because it took a very long time to warm them. The cappuchino was very fresh and good.

Great place to start a morning if you are a coffee person. Owners are friendly (remembered us from a day before and made us feel at home). It has the terrace that is great for smokers too.

Been there several times alone, now I only visit with my husband.I would rather give an advice to all the women who would think to come there alone to have a meal of a coffee. This is not a place for a woman alone to...More

Two full English breakfasts with drinks for £17. I really don't think it's a bad price for central London. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Strongly recommended!

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
