When I first visited this pub, about seven years ago, it was a hidden gem. Lovely huge leather seats and quiet. Because of its excellent location it eventually gained popularity, especially in the summer. Again not a problem. I visited at least once a week....More

The Rocket closed recently for what they called a 'refurbishment'. What they have actually done is a real shame. In a cynical bid to increase turnover, they have removed all of the charming features that gave the place character, and replaced them with austere tables-for-two....More

A vair vair posh Spoons full of millennials, seemed generally relaxed and not too pretentious considering the above! Visited on a Saturday night and we were told half of the outdoor seating was closed and we couldn't sit there, so had to sit on the...More

Ok, its wetherspoons, but staff whuch served me was really mean. I was completely ignored by dark clorored skin gril. She was looking at me in the really way I don't like. Your staff don't know table numbers. Drinks cheap, nice area.

My friends and I love weatherspoons. This is a really nice location on the river and there are tables outside which you can sit on. Really nice spoons would recommend it

The Rocket is the only venue in Putney where you can get a drink for a normal price. There are provisos, as I will outline, but the range of drinks on offer, the character of the building and the stylish, comprehensive price lists on the...More

For being a weatherspoon, I think it is a great place. Good views to the river if sitting outside and ok inside. Food is nothing special, but value for money. Drinks are very cheap and service is good. Recommended if you want a value for...More

This pub is situated in Putney facing the river Thames. The pub has plenty of seating inside and provides fine views of the river. Staff are friendly and efficient, breakfast menu somewhat basic but reasonably priced. Tables were dirty on my visit with remnants of...More
