Great venue for some good beers, at a decent cost. Ate here on my most recent visit and while the menu isn't huge, it's perfect for a beers and burger kind of night! Head here for post-work drinks :)

OK get ready for a super-long review - there are just too many good things to say! Firstly, I have eaten here several times for lunch and dinner as well as just popped in for coffee and after work drinks. It's always a great experience...More

I walked in to this place, saw the bar that looked so funky and thought "this place is going to have amazing cocktails" - it doesn't, in fact no cocktail list at all, just stock standard cocktails rattled off by the waitress. My dining companions...More

Visited for a social lunch on Tuesday 9th. The guy who served us (young, big beard) was absolutely fantastic. His recommendations for food were spot on. The steak and mushroom flatbread was outstanding. Really pleased overall. It escapes a 5 star purely due to the...More

Hi Jonathan! Thank you very much for your review! We'd love to have you back as I'm (very) pleased to say there is no longer excessive noise coming from next door.

£20 for a burger and pint? Over priced beer. No real proper ales. Burger was good but don't rave on about it. No one in there on a Thursday lunch. You should be able to get a good pint and burger at lunchtime for £10-£15. Sorry.

We came here for works Xmas lunch. I had squash and feta to start which was served with a tangy lemon curd - quite tasty. The lunch took a turn for the worst, when the main course arrived, a vegetable "pie" with celeriac mash. Don't...More

As an employee of the office next door we loved The Artisan. The refit didn't change too much but it's still great! The food selection for vegetarians isn't that great, however, the chips are nice! Bar staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome.
