Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the best brunch we have had in the Fulham area to date. I find London cafes generally don't come close to Australian cafes in terms of the quality of the brunch but this was brilliant. We had beetroot latte, Prosecco, garden scrambled eggs and poached eggs with red bell pepper sauce which were fabulous. Meals are a tad pricier than other cafes but definitely worth the expense. You also don't have to wait too long for your food after placing an order.
Be warned, the restaurant is tiny and despite having a reservation we had to wait for our table. Service wasn't great, but staff seemed friendly. Staff were a little disorganised so it took a long time to get the menu, let alone place our order and get the bill at the end. They forgot we had asked for the bill.
Brunch is Fridays - Sundays 10-3pm.
I would definitely return again, eager to try their lunch and dinner menus next time.

My husband and I and a couple of friends came here today for brunch. The service was great and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the french toast and the red pepper, poached egg and hash brown meal. You must have brunch here! Thank you again 🙂

I go to this restaurant fairly frequently and am some what fearful that the quality of cooking will drop. I am happy to say that when I had lunch there with a friend, who I had not seen for over forty years, we both had a delicious meal. We only ordered one course each but in both cases they were delicious, freshly cooked and well served. It was a memorable lunch greatly enhanced by the excellent food. What was sad was that there were so few people in the restaurant and I just hope that they will survive.

I have been here for a brunch and the food was ok, and the juices good. But, the service was really bad. We have been asked to order after 1 second we had had a sit and they made mistakes understanding our orders twice. Two of us received the food after a normal time waiting while the third person received the food after 30 mins. So, food ok but service really bad.

Probably one of the worst food experience ever had in London, especially when comparing the actual results to the expectations dictated by misleading photographs and unrealistic marketing promotions. The venue is rather small (some might say cosy) yet the extraction system is totally absent, pregnating the place with an old fried fish smell which immediately attack your clothes (unfortunately there is no physical separation between the kitchen and the sitting area and with no extraction the situation is unbearable). The menu is pretentious and unrealistic, causing once again incredible disappointment: the starters were less than impressive (A. three frozen prawns served half raw on a bunch of raw spinach leaves and B. a couple of beetroot slices on a bed of yogurt). The mains were less than mediocre: A. a dry fish fillet and B. what I could consider the chewiest, toughest piece of meat ever served, nearly impossible to swallow (thankfully served with some chips that made my life a bit less sad). The meat cooking was pretty rare even though I specifically asked for medium. The chimichurry sauce was overpowering and overfilled with garlic. As for dessert my friend wanted to try the tart with peanut butter: to our surprise there was a ball (as big as a large icecream scoop) of peanut butter thrown on top of an extra sugary chocolate tart (my friend had to stop eating it and ask to take it away as she didn't want to offend the owner).
Last but not least is the price: Manuka's range is shown as £20-£30 per person (that should be the average of course) yet each main costs more than £20 alone.
I shall not describe the state of the kitchen (seen while accessing the toilet) as it would take me another full paragraph.
It goes without saying I won't be going back soon and I strongly advice others to avoid it too: pretentious, overpriced, mediocre.
I'm truly sorry this was harsh but it was so bad I couldn't stay silent...

We were the only couple ordering food in this small place. Sadly, the food quality was poor and the Chef seemed to think the Nepali Waitress should do his bidding rather than serve the customer.
Full disclosure, that Chef wanted to cut me off for asking for a refill of my glass of whie wine. But having sampled his food, my companion and I preferred to leave. I suppose the fellow thinks he has made a sixty pound profit. I am grateful I never tasted his foul concoctions.

I have been going to Manuka Kitchen for many years and have praised this small and modest restaurant. My lunch with a friend recently was disappointing. The waffle was stale and only one was available. Neither of us enjoyed the meal as much as we did the last time we had lunch there. Socks will have to be pulled up!

As we walked into the restaurant we were greeted with a warm reception from the excellent staff. From here we knew, this was going to be good. Seated by the window, with the sun shining on the well laid table, the atmosphere was a delight. Not only this, but the food was exceptional. You could tell the high quality produce in the full Fulham breakfast and the pancakes…well…these could be the best we’ve ever had. But prepare your wallet, as high quality comes at a high cost, but well worth it in our eyes.

Manuka Kitchen continues to serve delicious and imaginative food. The restaurant is informal and the service is friendly. We’ve been several times over the years and this time was just as good. If you’ve not been for a while, time to return. If you’ve never been before, give it a go.

What a lovely experience as usual. We haven’t been at this restaurant for a while due to the pandemic but glad to see it hasn’t lost its charm and delicious food. If you find yourself in Fulham a must visit restaurant- you won’t regret it!

Last time we went to Manuka Kitchen was 10 years ago, so this was a long overdue visit. The breakfast is just as good now as it was before perhaps even better than before. So good to see Manuka is still going strong and has maintained its standard.

Went for dinner yesterday night. It was the second time I was going there. They offered us a drink to celebrate the after lockdown which is such a lovely thing to do. Food as always is absolutely wonderful. Staff are lovely. Atmosphere is nice and cosy. Prices are reasonable. They also are on Deliveroo. SO GO THERE and enjoy! It is just pleasure at its maximum!!! Thanks Manuka Kitchen!

Can't believe my wife and l have only just discovered this hidden gem in Fulham. Such an authentic feel to the restaurant, which comes through in abundance with the food. Our new favourite dining spot in South West London.
