Food was good as usual but dinner experience ruined by spotting a mouse running across the main restaurant floor. Not their fault at all but still... no apology from the waitress just "I know, we have put traps down" and we had to ask for a reduction on the bill, which she agreed to but still no apology. Service could... More

Had to wait to be seated as no one seemed interested in our presence . Eventually we were given a table underneath the aircon unit . We tried twice to make an order . The second time we were told to wait a minute whilst the waitress moved a pot of jam to another table... we then left . Usually... More

Today, after an early start in London, I discovered this delightful French boulangerie, just off the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. I was warmly welcomed and the food looked delicious. The presentation of menus and food was very well done. I was only there for a morning coffee and almond croissant, but it was served quickly and I thoroughly... More

We had lunch or dinner in this restaurant several times in the last 6 months. The food and service have been constantly of good quality. In spite of the fact that it is supposed to be “healthy”, the food is tasty too and there are several good options in the menu. The decoration is nice and the staff is very... More

Lovely place with such a good food! Great huge portion of porridge and delicious French pastries! The best coffee with milk and what is nice, kids can have marmalade as much as they want, because you have on you table more than 3 types of organic marmalade (jam). Always happy to come back here! Great place for breakfast!

We stopped in on a whim looking for something different and a bit lighter. We were warmly welcomed, and the menu had several great options. This location is roomy, yet conveniently located just off Oxford St.

Looking for a relaxed lunch following a late night theatre visit the evening before, we stumbled across LPQ. We didn't let the noise of builders next door put us off and the staff were full of apologies for the intrusiveness, stating they would be finished for the day very soon. I chose the mushroom toast, delicious mixture of mushrooms with... More

Stopped here for coffee as it looked really nice from the outside. In truth it was nice enough without being any different from the many other similar places. We were shown promptly to our seat and our food was perfectly nice. The service again was fine allowing for the fact that the waiter was clearly rushed off his feat.

I love this place. It's authentic on every level. The food was great and health too without feeling that you hadn't eaten enough. A great find and I will return when I'm back in the area.

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
