I'm reviewing this as pub that does food rather than a restaurant as mainly I have gone here fro a drink. The Lemon Tree is situated slightly off the beaten track of the tourist trail and I often find these type of pubs (especially in London) are well worth seeking out. On the occasions I have visited I have always... More

If you look at my TA profile you will see I do not do poor reviews unless absolutely necessary. Table reserved for 17:30 for the 2 of us, as a pre-theatre meal as part of my partner's birthday weekend. Arrived and checked in with the barman who informed us you buy drinks downstairs to take upstairs to the restaurant, no... More

My friends took me here as they'd been before. The Thai restaurant area is upstairs and quite small. Little atmosphere but the food was great and amazing value for central London. Good quality beers too!

We've recently been on a Thai food binge across London and were recommended The Lemon Tree by a Thai friend and so of course we went to check it out. One credit to the staff there is that although the upstairs restaurant was booked, they managed to serve us and another couple in the small seating area available downstairs. That... More

Great food, nicely cooked and presented in a laid back room above the pub, couldn't ask for any more!

Love this little place, good for a quiet drink away from the hustle and bustle. Even on a Saturday night you can enjoy a quiet pint, or try three thirds!

Popped in for a quick bite to eat mid shift. Wish I could have stayed. The food was Devine and the atmosphere was really cosy. Friendly barman and generally a really nice little pub.

Initially we wondered if we had the right place. The mix of ale pub and Thai restaurant was a little odd at first. However, the food was very good. Spring rolls are amazing. Pad Thai was beautiful and the spicy noodles are not for the feint hearted! Some good ales on offer as well. Overall = Very Good

Excellent food, great value, fast but poor service, and by that I mean that the meals arrived very quickly indeed, but we were not allowed to order ANY drinks at the table. Instead, we were expected to go back along the corridor, down the stairs and plough through the crowds waiting to be served at the heaving bar downstairs, by... More
