Visited this restaurant just after Christmas 19, and was pleasantly surprised at the courteous waiter service, and quality of the food on offer. Have visited many establishments like this, however the quality of the food in of a very high standard. When visiting this part of London in future I would not hesitate to return. Highly Recommend.

We had the most delicious muttar paneer and fish curry. The food was authentic and served by kind and friendly staff - definitely recommend for an evening meal or lunch.
It is a short walk from Euston underground/rail, so it is in a great location.

This place has tasty and authentic tastes, which I can tell are done with fresh and quality ingredients. The staff are helpful and talkative as well, and we also got a discount because we are students!
The portions are not really big, but are filling. The mango lassi is amazing!!! Definitely worth the try.

First of great service! Nice chatty waiter but still let you enjoy your food. Staff curry was authentic, naan breads soft a fluffy but not to doughy. Beers cold!! All round a great Bangladeshi restaurant.

The service as soon as I walked in was terrible. I went through menu and started searching for somewhere else but this had the best reviews for the area.
The customer service was poor too. I walked into the restaurant and asked for a table for one as I was travelling on business. The guy just points to the corner and yells something. Another young guy just laughed and said he’s mad. Like is this how you treat your customers? I could understand if there was a bit of banter afterward but there was nothing just seemed odd.
The food was bland, lacked flavour and spice. I live in Derbyshire so I expected some competition as we have some Excellent Indian restaurants such as Anoki, Viceroy and The Balti to name a few. This place was no where near touching it, I could make this at home on my own with very few ingredients and it would still taste better than what I was served.
I asked them to remove the service charge for the poor service I received and I wrote this review so you get an honest opinion on the food.

Really enjoyed our curry here. I had lamb naga curry which was very spicy but a nice heat. The staff were really nice and the service was quick. The only downside - hence the 4/5 stars was the prices. The draught beer for half a pint was £4 and we were charged nearly £6 for poppadoms and the spice dips which was really disappointing.

A warm welcome, exceptional service and fantastic food make this not just a Drummond Street highlight, but one of London's best Indian restaurants.
From the crispy poppadums to the plentiful mixed grill, the food was fresh and full of flavour.
The team have managed the current COVID-19 situation extremely well, and the venue was clean and safe

Connoisseurs of Indian food will know what I mean when i say that this place has got it. Good value, professional talented kitchen, and just what I wanted, not for the first time. Also they are friendly and kind to the lone diner. Proper table, not in the middle of the room or next to the toilet or the door like some places. Highly recommended.

I had a dinner at this restaurant yersterday night. A few steps away from Tottenham Court road, it has a complete menu with typical indian specialties. The food was good, tasty dishes and the service rather helpful (sometimes a bit pushy).
Overall a good location for a curry at a reasonable price.

Went there for dinner after Theater trip. Had an amazing meal. Served by a lovely staff member called Raj. The fish curry was amazing and he offered to change our starter as very spicy. Fabulous food and service. Would highly recommend!

We were in the area and after a bit of research we went to this joint early Saturday evening. The food (onion bahjis, chicken jalfrezi, lamb dopiaza, rice and nan) was really good, not overly greasy. I am big jalfrezi fun so I eat it a lot, and here it was top-notch. Also of note that the lamb was tender, in many indian restaurants in the UK it turns out hard and chewy, but not here. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. Overall, a very positive experience. Will be back!

On Christmas Day in London, we opted to dine at this establishment based on numerous positive reviews. Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome and were promptly escorted to our table. Our drink orders were efficiently taken and delivered, with only a minor hiccup that was quickly addressed.
Choosing to start with prawns, lamb chops, and paneer, we eagerly awaited our meal. The presentation upon arrival was satisfactory, and everything seemed promising. However, the lamb chops left much to be desired, displaying an unexpectedly poor quality that required an extensive amount of chewing—each piece demanding about 50 bites to render it somewhat palatable.
The prawns shared a similar fate, proving overly chewy. Despite having experienced fine dining in some of the world's top restaurants, the texture of the prawns fell disappointingly short. Additionally, the paneer was disappointingly rubbery and served in a meagre portion, lacking the desired level of warmth. I find it hard to believe that genuine people have written such positive reviews for this place, I for one will not be going back and would not recommend this place to my friends and family.

A+ from beginning to end. Once our server found out one of us was vegetarian, he offered to sort us out with a family style vegetarian meal with dishes on the menu and some other dishes they would cook up based on our preferences. It was the best Indian food meal the three of us ever had. The entire meal ended up being half the price we expected based on our review of the menu at the outset. You could see that they did their best with it and were making the food like they would for their family.

I am not normally a great fan of Indian restaurants in the US. Often the freshness of the ingredients is lost in heavy handed spices and too much ghee. With 10 days to spend in London though, I felt I should try one of the city's famous Indian spots, so I asked a friend who lives near Regent's park to take me to his local favorite.
Taste of India served us an excellent meal, with every dish featuring its main ingredient in a way that enhanced it rather than overwhelming it.
Service seemed a little aggressive at first as our waiter steered us away from dishes we chose towards something else. Fortunately we listened to his advice, because his suggestions were excellent! We ended up with a lamb curry on the bone, eggplant and Dhal. as well as some little Puris filled with chickpeas and a mixed tandoori appetizer. Each dish was subtly flavored and distinct and light.

We had dinner at this small restaurant. The staff and most of the diners appeared to be of Indian descent. The food was spicy and delicious. The two of us agreed it was some of the best Indian food we've had. One of us had shrimp korma, and one of us had chicken biryani. We also shared the vegetarian samosas.
Although dinner was great, the dessert was not very good. The ice cream lacked flavor and appeared to have been frozen and thawed many times. Just not tasty.
It was odd that they could not serve any hot drinks, such as masala chai; however, they did appear to have a full bar.
We recommended this to other guests at our hotel.
