Really wonderful service and delicious food. There was a mishap with overbooking and the staff handled it so well which made our whole evening really enjoyable. We’ll definitely be going back.
This was my 3rd visit. The food is delicious. The portions are huge. I took lots home. My friend had lamb and salad and Bulgar wheat. We both enjoyed flat bread, dips and olives. I had lamb moussaka, with rice. Red wine. Then ice cream-...3 different flavours. The staff are attentive and friendly, remembering us from our last lunch in January. We'll be back !More
Best meats they have been as much as been served , nice welcoming & lovely staff , and best cocktail makers who is ozgur best specialist around east london 👍
WAW!!!! What a fantastic place I enjoyed everything about this place. The food and the cocktails were amazing!!! You have to try them out
One chain I visit frequently is simply superb but from time to time I do like to make every effort to support my local restaurant and this evening, it fell so low of all expectations . The lovely lady who waited my table was an...absolute delight but sadly she felt uncomfortable due to my disappointment. Tara and humus , no complaint , the tarama was actually superb, light and fluffy. I'd made a decision before I entered that I was going to have lamb donner which I have almost every time at every Turkish restaurant I frequent and sadly it wasn't on the menu. I sulked and decided to have a lamb casserole. ( can't go wrong) I am used to nice hearty salad placed in front of me without asking, almost immediately, they made me feel weird that I wanted it before main course arrived. The casserole was covered with overcooked red, orange and green peppers that I fished out, casserole was in my opinion absolutely tasteless. Why am I being so damning to a local restaurant, because it goes totally against the grain to assassinate any business on social media but I am being 💯 % honest. The attentive waitress asked how it was??? So I told her! She said she would speak with the manager ,who was actually the owner, he saw my entire dish almost untouched, took it off the bill and yet totally ignored me, that's when I decided to post this! He will,no doubt read this and probably leave a reply but too late now! Not the end of the world but even for a free meal? My 1st and last visit here. Restaurants need to remember ' you're as good as your last meal'! Sorry to all the customers who actually love this venueMore
Food was reasonble but way too expensive for a local restaurant. Even alowing for increase in costs, the price was over the top. Not good value
This was the second time in this restaurant and it will be our last. The starters were fine, but the main meals don't seem to resemble the same as described on the menu. At the first visit, we ordered the king tiger prawns which is...stated were cooked with garlic, ginger and a herb butter. What arrived was the seafood stew (this was a separate choice on the menu) but with prawns instead in a tomato-based sauce with no ginger and garlic in sight. We wondered if the chef mixed up the two dishes. It was tasty, but wasn't what it said on the menu. It came with a salad of chunky rough cut vegetables which needed to be finely cut when they're hard veg to start with (carrots and red cabbage in particular). On the second visit, the starters of hummus, warmed flat bread, beetroot salad with minty garlic sauce (and fiery chilli sauce if you can take it that hot) were fine....however...the main dish of vegetarian moussaka had about 4 ingredients missing (mushrooms, peas, garlic and chickpeas) and we were left with a stodgy pile of potatoes at the bottom, with peppers, tiny cubes of one or two carrot pieces, aubergine with a bechamel sauce topped with cheese. It was boring and we drizzled the last of the minty garlic sauce over the top to give it some flavour. We felt cheated from a less than adequate moussaka. We tried this restaurant twice. Decor's very nice and so was the staff but the food was a let down.More
My second visit., this time along with my family. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty, well presented, generous portions. The service was excellent, staff are so efficient, they are not allocated specific tables but all attend wherever the need arises - it was really impressive...without being fussy or intrusive. I definitely recommend this place.More
After eating at the Edgware branch, I'm disappointed I thought I'd be having the same flavoursome experience but I didn’t. Its not the same flavours. I didn't enjoy it. Not happy
Disappointing experience. Meal was tasty but not as tasty as other similar restaurants. Fish was over cooked. Several dishes we tried to order were unavailable. On the final bill the restaurant forgot to charge for the drinks we had consumed.
My Partner and I visited this restaurant on Monday 3rd January 2022. Great Atmosphere. Clean and friendly. Decor Very Good. Service fast, efficient & friendly. Food excellent and wide range to choose from. If yo've not tried Turkish Tea you are in for a treat....In our opinion, best Turkish Restaurant in North London!More
