We went here to try English fish and chips. The fish was light and flaky, well seasoned. Chips (fries) were average. Overall, it was a nice place to check out.

Beer selection is ok. We were given menus then told to order & pay at bar upfront. Food took forever! We were hungry and were thinking of leaving. But we had paid already. When it came. (We had the fish & chips & a steak...pie). For the fish & chips. Both the peas and fries were previously frozen. We asked for tartar sauce. They said they were out. Just mayo. Girlfriend was upset. My steak pie had red cabbage I think from a jar & heated with onions. Otherwise it was ok. We have much better fish & chips at home in Canada. No one ever came back to our table to check on us. The 3 waitresses just stayed behind the back and chatted and ate. We finished & walked out.More

I stopped in here due to the Yelp reviews. It's a good pub with a good location and a great food menu. I had a couple pints and a burger w/chips. Not too busy during lunch on a Wednesday. If I ever go back to...London, I'd visit here again.More

Nice pub friendly service. The menu looks good but very limited especially for vegetarians unless you like red lentils and chickpeas!

Fun place. Staff friendly. Even though all the hand pulled ale was off (boo!) we enjoyed a pale ale or two. Good prices for central London too........

Brilliant pub nice beers. The staff where brilliant. Charlie the barman was brillaint top class 10/10
