If you are looking for a nice, local pub in busy Central London where everything is about the tourists, look no further, The White Hart will fit the bill. We booked a table for a Sunday and looked forward to our roasts. The friendly staff...More

A fantastic respite from crowds and madness and only a couple of blocks away. The scotch egg was perfect. Staff were busy but polite. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the patrons. Solid and unpretentious.

Nice small pub serving decent food. Went here for a reunion with 3 old colleagues, we had booked a table (not really needed on a Thursday lunchtime) , better safe than sorry. Service was great and the food was lovely. I had the bangers and...More

To note, I have not eaten here. The range of beer / ale / cider on tap is simply superb! This is a wonderful pub that's away from the tourist bustle of Waterloo and feels very relaxed. I cannot comment on the food but the...More

This place is perfect for a quick pint before a train. It's just far enough away that you have real prices instead of the inflated prices at the station. Good selection of beers and ales.

We stumbled across this pub whilst trying to find somewhere nice and quiet to have lunch near Waterloo Tube Station. We could have spent all afternoon in there. Friendly and welcoming staff, good food at reasonable prices. Nice and clean interior. Selection of Gin &...More

Tried to visit at around 6pm with a group of friends, which included my extremely well behaved and polite son. We were asked to leave, due to having a minor with us. A big disappointment, as we had made quite a trek to visit this...More

Due to the fact the pub is quite small, we have a house rule of no under 18's after 6pm as we don't have a separate area for under 18's. Regardless if your son is well behaved and polite we don't feel it is the...More

Have eaten mainly in the late afternoon or early evening, but my guess is they would probably serve until an hour before closure.

Description
Waterloo's quaintest backstreet pub.Tucked away from the well-trodden streets of Waterloo, The White Hart may be pint-sized in stature but it more than makes up for it with personality. Surrounded by some of London's oldest workers' cottages, the pub is a nostalgic nod to the old South Bank before it was invaded by tourists seeking cultural enlightenment. Take a seat in a snug, candlelit corner and savour a lovingly poured pint of cask ale and soak up the unique atmosphere of a proper London pub. We are open 7 days a week 364 days a year. Sunday & Monday 12.00 - 23.00 Tuesday to Saturday 12.00 - 00.00.
