Came came straight from the airport after a long flight wanting to experience a true local pub. We hit the spot. We ordered THE LOT, which is all the the small plates on the menu (and a local pint, of course). Food was great, super...fast service, and EXTREMELY friendly staff. Thank you! Feel like we settled in right away, definitely recommended.More

Good location and airy pub. Drinks ok - food dreadful. Possibly the worst cooked and presented Haddock and Chips I’ve ever encountered. The haddock appeared to have been retried. The skin on chips very brown and peculiarly soggy - microwaved perhaps? The crushed peas had...not been sufficiently drained, so was watery. The tartare sauce was ok but clearly out of a jar!!More

Had lunch at Barley Mow today. It was a sunny day so outside patio was very busy. Didn’t matter to me because I wanted to sit inside. Staff were very attentive and helpful even though they were very busy. Had the beef pie. Very tasty...and obviously cooked from scratch. Would definitely recommend the restaurantMore

Popped in for a pre-lunch drink. The General Manager and the barman could not have been more welcoming. A well kept pub, spotless inside and an immaculate outside space. Such a pleasure to stumble across this place.

I have been a user of the Barley Mow for about 5 years and never encountered a rude member of staff. Jade, one of the managers is particularly dedicated and the others, sadly changing because of lockdown, have been consistently good. There are better food...offers in Westminster but it’s friendly, when allowed has the sport, and has flexible spaces. Overall nothing to moan about at all.More

Every time I’ve been here the staff are rude. It seems that guests are an inconvenience and they seem to have a very snooty attitude! Give it a miss and support a local pub like The Rifleman.

I and my husband have been locals for years. Have seen change but I am so disappointed with our last two meals we have received My Sunday roast was chicken and I believe it was so dry that I have stabbed my mouth few times...with softest parts of it few potatoes burned... my husband had beef and it was dry and tasteless. Fish is just frozen staff and chips are reheated. Will come for drink but given up on food!🤨More

Hello ingrid c, I am sorry to read that your visits have been unsatisfactory. All our meals are freshly prepared on site so it is a wonder how we managed to get this so wrong. It is particularly surprising that you seem to have had...More

Popped in for a drink in a group of about 20 of us after work and the pub absorbed us quickly and efficiently. Selection of beers was excellent and very varied. We did not try the food but as a location it was perfect with...plenty of standing area broken up be some separated seated areas. Well done.More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are
